And to think I dream of renting sometimes! :) Owning a home is great for many reasons, but when the water heater goes out, all the sinks back up, and the furnace kicks the bucket...and you have to pull out the ole wallet. ugh. In those times I think back about the convience of calling a landlord! I hope your rental is on the mend & good luck with the house hunt.

If I were to have another child I'd definetly do it at home. I had two "easy" hospital births, were I showed up at the hospital pretty much ready to push. I know having already given birth twice, I'd have the confidence to do it at home. There's so much about being at the hospital that I hate. Being at home would make the day much more personal.

My 6yr. old daughter loves to collect dead bugs. I should enclose them in something like your gift. I'm a little sick of seeing dried broken off legs on her nightstand!

Really good post Suzi. A reminder to shake off all those negative nelly demons when they show up. I think they sneak up on everyone sometimes, myself included. Beautiful journal pages too, btw.

A yellow popup camper! So cute. We bought one at the end of summer last year, and only had one chance to take it out. I can't wait for spring so we can do it again. Looks like you all had a blast :)

I can understand the studio growing pains. I work at the dining table too, my art supplies stashed in the laundry room, shipping supplies in closets, printers, scanners, etc. stuffed everywhere! Last summer I decided to lease a studio (800 sq.ft)...and it swallowed me whole! I felt so sad there without my girls in the background, without my little yard to eat lunch in, no trees outside my window. I sub-leased the space and moved my stuff back home. Crowded again, but now I appreciate it. :) I really enjoy your blog and your work.

I believe one can never have too many blankets. That pattern/color is sooo fun! Dig it!
