Attendees competed to win the iPad by taking a final exam to test their knowledge of the material presented during the day. The person with the most correct answers won. Zhao and Alex tied,... The IP industry like the rest of the semiconductor ecosystem has been under significant stress in the last year and the worldwide economy has collapsed and now is slowly crawling back to life. Fortunately the world needs IP more than ever after slashing employment. That said, there is incredible pressure on IP pricing as semiconductor companies preserve their cash as much as possible while their sales begin to regain stability. We are seeing increasing very creative business proposals as a result of cash-strapped customers looking for ways to get very valuable IP for the lowest price. I found this very... Continue reading

On behalf of the Constellations companies, I'd like to welcome you to the Constellations blog page. We encourage people reading the posts here to interact with the authors and make this is living, breathing conversation within the community of companies supporting the semiconductor industry. It's worth at least one post to explain to readers what Constellations is all about and why we are all excited about it. Simply put, Constellations is a group of IP companies that collaborate with one another by helping those companies find customers who need their IP. By teaming up with each other, the Constellations forms... Continue reading
