I agree with KWAPT. He's had the entire offseason to keep "training" his knee. I understand we should keep him slow and steady but the season is basically in a month. If it gets to October and he's still not playing what should we assume? Perhaps re-signing big baby was the biggest move afterall.

I'm more upset that Johnny the Bone didn't make the HOF over the fact that I didn't make this years cut. I feel a nice Jim Rice like style for me to make it in. Sometime around 2020 I hope.

I love the concept. But are you drafting the player based on their career stats, career stats on the celtics or something like their best seasons?

I would never want Tyronn Lue in Celtics green..... he's a girl.

Who should start Telfair or Rondo??????????

That was also the last year I was able to buy $30 tickets 2 hours before the game on ticketmaster. And does any1 else remember this site from the 2007 season? Man times really have changed. Can't believe that was only two years ago.

The Phil Jackson argument is that he won his titles in an era where its harder to win multiple championships.... but Red won all of his with one team and absolutely dominated that era and revolutionized the game.

Its funny how Leon and TA are kinda in the same boat with the C's but at the same time its completely different. Guys who've spent theyre whole career with the company, battled knee injuries and have at times been embraced by the fans. Its just Leon is being let go at the peak of his popularity while every1 has basically had enough of TA.

If we got the #2 pick and didn't take Rubio, I would be upset. He seems like the perfect player to add to this team.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Ya so if we kept the pick there was a good chance Sota would've picked Foye at #6 and then Brandon Roy wouldve been at #7 for us to take. Thats why I said potentially. Looking back at it, the draft in 2006 wasnt suppose to be good and out of it came Rondo,Roy,Aldrige as well as guys like Ronnie Brewer Ty Thomas and Rudy Gay

The Ainge quote sounds like from this year but I can't even really relate that quote to these trade rumors. They took one quote from an entire article praising Rondo.
Exactly. But the real question is Ainge trying to go for a few solid players (i.e Amare and Barbosa) or attract a young superstar. Either way, I don't see any of those guys you wrote being traded.

I understand the Ray Allen thing but how would added Rondo go into this equation whatsoever. If were trading someone like Rondo who is the FUTURE of this team, then Ainge has lost it. Personally, I feel Rondo is one of the guys in this league you just can't trade. Unlike someone like Ray Allen, you don't know how Rondo could improve in the next couple years. Allens not bringing anything new to the table, but Rondo has a chance to be the best pure point guard in the East for the next decade. If we offer Allen and Rondo in a deal, it has to be one of the best players in the league. I know Ainge brought us a title and brought KG and Ray Ray to boston, but besides that year he has made too many mistakes during his tenure. I thought our 1st round pick (potentially Brandon Roy) for Telfair was bad, but if a deal is made involving both these guys, I'll be very upset. Nevermind the fact that we'll be a Top 3 team in the league again next season.
Good point. Nevermind the fact he had to deal with the Wizards who still believe the Arenas-Jamison-Butler trio are enough to "make some noise" in the East. It's also hard to make any sort of roster change when you're giving 150 million to Arenas who gets hurt every season. It cripples the team from making any real moves.

You can tell Reggie is loving every moment of this.

It's awesome to hate the Lakers because a)The history of these teams b)They're good c)THE FREAKIN HISTORY Honestly no one cares whether or not you care about this rivalry, but don't say that we shouldnt care about the biggest rivalry in our historys franchise.
