Oh, Darcy, I just love this article!!! And I almost missed because I've been away from the blog for about a week. Honoring free will and respecting psychic privacy were a BIG lesson for me, too ... to the point that I had to train myself to absolutely not connect unless my abilities are triggered by a direct question. I miss stuff sometimes now in daily life, but at least everyone gets their privacy. Thanks so much for this beautifully written and valuable article. Verbena x9615

Miss Krystal, thank you! Even before I read your post this morning I was thinking about the annual Christmas party and how I can get there this year ... because I want to meet you and all the other psychics I've gotten to know. Fingers crossed! Blessings, Verbena

Miss Krystal, I'm really interested in your point about karmic irony. I've never thought of it that way before, and in looking back I can see many occurrences in my readings. It's now definitely part of my arsenal of helpful ideas. And it reminds me, again, to never underestimate or second guess the Universe's limitless and ingenious ways of working for our highest good. Blessings, Verbena

I think casual sex is especially tricky for women who are psychic or sensitive, because you're being penetrated spiritually and emotionally as physically. The sex act moves right into a woman's most personal and private space, and I've learned to be VERY careful who I allow in that space, because my boundaries are basically nonexistent there! I learned to see that part of my body as a sacred chalice, to be filled only with great care and attention. Blessings, Verbena

Wonderful article, Miss Krystal, packed with important wisdom for singles. I also have enjoyed your recent comments elsewhere in the blog about marriage vs cohabitation. I also agree with Gina Rose about the delights of single-hood, and with Abigail about the importance of remaining available, and I really enjoyed how Sea Turtle's personal experiences wove into Miss Krystal's advice to illustrate it beautifully. I'd like to tack on one thing from my own personal experience (so far). Sometimes being single is your path, the way of being, the route you travel, which facilitates your highest possibilities. I don't think this path is for most people, but it can be a powerful and life-enhancing choice, and makes possible a kind of laser focus which can accomplish a lot. But it's important that it be something you choose, not something you've resigned yourself to endure, AND that it be part of a lifelong commitment to greet change with open arms when it shows up. Because it always does! Blessings to all you cool gals, Verbena

I hope we do figure out a way to have that conversation, Abigail ... although if we pack everything we'd enjoy talking about in one session it'd probably last for days. For example: my cats also walk with me and the dog, every day, off leash. People are slack-jawed when they see it, but they just mosey along ignoring the fact that they're being amazing. Fortunately for them, they have their own dog who's willing to take on anyone who threatens HER kitties! Blessings ... and hugs! Verbena

Oh, Abigail, it's a rare story that can make me laugh AND give me goosebumps at the same time. I certainly enjoyed reading this well told tale and especially enjoyed the Dennis the Menace image. I like your point to (oki doki ducki ) Lovely Duckling about simply setting up protection or sacred space using prayer or whatever works for you. Its true that a Ouija Board can open an unguarded door to unseen forces, but I agree with Abigail, if you use protection to post a spiritual guard, so to speak, you'll be fine. My positive Ouija Board memories are of my sister and I used using ours to do a kind of psychic/telekenetic arm wrestling, using minds only, no hands, with both of us focusing on the placket to see which could move it toward the other person first. Then, when we got really good, we'd practice (no hands) spelling out insulting names for the other sister, seeing if we could actually get through spelling them before the other sister wrestled the placket away. It was fun. And I developed a really great vocabulary of extremely short insults. Cheers & blessings, Verbena x9615

Hi, Priti! Hope you're feeling much better this evening! There was an article about meditation in today's newsletters (Meditation's Big Thinkers) that, based on your comments, I think also would be helpful to your quest for balance, well being and stronger intuition. May you experience many more "random" blessings this weekend. Blessings, Verbena x9615

You have some wonderful and, at least for me, unusual suggestions in this article, TeriLynn. I'm going to suggest it to callers who are developing their abilities. I'd be interested in hearing your suggestions about mantras. It's an interesting and useful concept to make that part of psychic development, and I bet readers would benefit from some examples. Blessings, Verbena x9615

This is great stuff, Kit, a lot of solid information packed into a small space. I agree that the first and most important step in developing your psychic abilities ... as well as working with Angels and Spirit Guides is to begin noticing and trusting your intuition. Blessings, Verbena x9615

Say, did everybody notice the newsletter article today (3/6) about soul contracts? I didn't agree with all of it, but it's kind of a good start ...now to get down to details. Blessings, Verbena

I agree with you about the article idea, Gina Rose. Do you think there's a way to collate the high points from a number of psychics so whoever writes the article can provide a really good key for callers and Customer Service? It's worth pursuing, IMHO. Blessings, Verbena

Hey, richiam, Thanks! Your description of your own personal experience is really important; all the philosophies in the world aren't worth much unless people are willing provide guideposts for others by talking about their own experiences, as you did. Blessings, Verbena
