Happy Friday Everyone! Ellen Sosnoski here and today I wanted to share a layout with you featuring the Lotus Punch 603. I just love this punch. It is sooooo versatile and just adds that spark to every project. I used it on this layout with some "tone on tone". Not sure if that is the technical term or not but I simply punched the Lotus Flower out of the same cardstock that I adhered it to. I just love how it looks! It's super simple. Here is a close-up of the Lotus Punch: Have a great weekend! Continue reading

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone! Ellen here and I thought it would be a good time to share a Holiday layout I created with the Holly 914 punch and the Circle Cutter. Instead of creating a traditional circle, I free-handed it and made the fun wave you see just off to the right of center (red paper). Have an amazing holiday!!! Continue reading

YES! Just one more post about butterflies. I just have to say, wait until you get your hands on this new butterfly Die! The are to "die" for!!! :) I have been using it non-stop. I used my Cuttlebug along with the C and A plates and it worked great. Emboss it for an extra special touch. I added a border punch detail with the Heart punch (917) and notice I used a piece of the punch on the upper right hand corner. And here is another one.... Have a great weekend!!! Continue reading
oooh! luv me some 7 gypsies!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning! Today I wanted to share with you a fun little altered tin I created with the NEW Kreaxions 307 punch! It is so fun and I just love it. Don't be afraid to take your punches off the page and use them on altered projects. They add the perfect touch for any project. I used the punch along the bottom of the tin for a little added interest. Have a crafty weekend! Continue reading

Good Morning! It's Ellen here and things are shaping up to be a great weekend around here. I wanted to share with you a layout I created with the Lotus Punch. This is one of the newer ones that I had the pleasure of using and I just LOVE it! It is the perfect touch for any project. For this layout, I used it to help move your eye around the page since this layout is based on a grid-like design. Here is a close-up of the punch. I used the negative image here, too. Have a GREAT weekend!!! Continue reading

Good Morning! Ellen here and I wanted to share a layout with you that I created. I don't know about you but when I am using my punches I always line them up on my projects with the punched side down. Do you do that? Well, this time I turned my punch "upside down". Honestly, there is no right or wrong way just a different perspective, really. I used the 302 punch on this layout because I love it's organic feel and thought it fit well with this theme. Have a crafty weekend!!! Continue reading

Ellen here and today I am sharing a tip on how to "double dip" your punches. All I did was cut out a thicker sticker strip than I normally do from my pattern paper {approximately 4" wide} and then punched both sides. This way it looks as if I have a premade border strip. Then, just add it to a card or layout, embellish and Viola! I used the Lilly Punch for this card. Have a great weekend! Continue reading

Hi Everyone! Ellen here and today I am sharing a layout with you where I really wanted to focus and the photo but it felt like it needed more. And of course, when doesn't a punch lend that extra something special to you layout? I created this mat for the photo and the Lily punch was the perfect way to accent it. Punched both the top and the bottom of the mat Here is a close-up: Have a creative weekend! :) Ellen Continue reading

HI Everyone! Ellen here again with another layout for you. I have to say this might be my all time favorite layout right now and it's all because of the Kreaxions Butterfly punch :) I seriously cannot put this punch down! Here are a few details about this layout...I used a stamp to create the film strip by lining it up and stamping one right after the other. Then, I lined up my Butterfly punch and marked it with a pencil so I knew how far to go between the openings in the film strip. Then, I just adhered the... Continue reading

Good Morning! Ellen here and I wanted to share with you some quick snapshots I took of one of my favorite border punches in action, the Kreaxions 304 punch. Here is what the border piece looks like when you are finished: You can see how they are connected here: For this layout, I only want a small border so I am just going snip it where the two pieces meet: And now I have TWO border so use if I choose. I just love how versatile these punches are! Here is my finished layout: Continue reading

Hi Everyone! Ellen here and today I wanted to share with you a layout I made with the Lily 4 in1 punch and the circle cutter. I punched across the paper, cut it in strips and then adhered it. Notice that I didn't use the Lilies on here...just the triangular shape border. Here is a close-up of the circles that I embossed with my Cuttlebug. They are so easy to do with the circle cutter...once you get one you won't be able to stop! AND here is a close-up of the punching. Punches aren't just for borders :) :) :)... Continue reading
