Okay, I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this comment but all of you who are moved enough by this photo to comment here really should also click through and post a comment for its photographer as well. As long as I'm on my soapbox, not only do I remember and thank all of those who have fought and died for this country but also thank the people who fought for this country and survived -- they took on a lifetime of bad memories and if-onlys for us as well. To my real time friends, I'm a geek (and was one even before geekness was cool). To those posting here, I suppose, I'm part geek or, perhaps, a geek-in-training. To my son and his crowd, I'm somewhere between a geek wannabe and an altogether non-geek. I'm just a gal, you know, and because I'm a gal who doesn't believe in drawing unnecessary lines between people, I'll leave it to someone else to decide who is a geek and who should be flushed from the geek pool. I will, however, warn the person flushing that I'm a very strong swimmer as well as being a gal.
