I don't know how they can have much content-- but I like the games from the past, so I'm okay with them showing those all day. I wasn't born until 1988 so it's very interesting for me to watch games from before my time.

It was magnificent. First time I've been this happy with a game since game 3.

Thanks for reminding me about LeBron's switching of the numbers and his utter disrespect to Bill Russell. I had almost forgotten yet another reason I want the Bulls (or anyone, really) to wipe out the Heat's season and in particular make it that LeBron never, ever has a ring.

Considering I've been a lifetime Celtics fan and even a picture of me at the age of 3 is hugging the Red Auerbach statue, I guess I'm not a true fan, either, as one of my better friends is a Lakers fan. Oh, and I guess that since Larry and Magic were friends, Larry wasn't a true Celtic...

Just an awful game. Awful, awful, awful. Hated out plays, our misses... terrible. I would like to point out that Bosh deserved to be ejected when he got called for that first tech. He didn't stop and kept acting like an ass. Anyone on the Celtics who did that is getting a second tech and is watching the rest of the game from the locker room. Absurd.

Thank you so much for going back to your old previews. That was my one big issue with your questionnaire about how to change the site. Very glad you listened. A welcome feature.

DRJ drinks some milkshakes. Love all of his posts.

At least he's a responsible driver... wait...

Listening to Kamla poke fun at Tommy and then Barry making his snide remarks against him as well (like his tree falls in the woods line) were offensive. The officiating made me go hoarse from yelling at the television. I'm only 22-- I'm too young to drive myself to a heart attack.

I was really happy I got to listen to Tommy call the game. Being in Texas it's a rarity to get to hear his thoughts. I love that man. Celtics played sloppy, but they couldn't buy a call from the refs... whereas the Heat would miss a shot and they got to go to the line to make up for it.

What's so uncanny to me is how I wanted to hug Durant's mom after the OKC vs. Lakers game last night because she seemed so nice with her own son and Ibaka. Wade's mom just annoyed me. I know I shouldn't be... but the ABC pandering was frustrating as all hell.

Wow, that guy was really classy. Honestly, even if the shoe was on the foot, I still wouldn't wish such a thing on the Heat... well, maybe Q Rich... nah... What kills me is I was born in Florida and always had a soft spot for the Heat. Not anymore, that's for sure, considering their fans and Q Rich. I feel like burning my one Miami Heat had that I got back when I was five years old.

Don't like Sheed, but I hafta admit that I say, "ball don't lie" during any game I see on TV or attend if I disagree with the call no matter who's playing. Except the Lakers, Cavs or Hawks.

No joke. It's ridiculous that Stern is now decided to go full-dictator and silence ANYONE who speaks out against him. What specifically infuriates me is that Stern doesn't even admit to the fact that the refs make a larger role in the game (which they do, those self righteous dicks), but that they want to punish anyone who questions their integrity. I switched from the NBA tonight to watch the NFL draft. Never thought that would happen, but it made me long for the integrity of the integrity of the NFL reffing staff. That said, DEVIN MCCORTY?! ARRRGGGHHH! Why couldn't Belichick get my fellow graduate Kindle?? (I'm graduating from The University of Texas next month alongside him...) Sorry to go off topic...

Looks to be getting worse: http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2010/04/22/stern-threatens-suspensions-for-continued-criticism-of-referees/?ls=iref:nbahpt1

Jeez, I can't stand Sheed and still feel that's ridiculous.

Loved the win, hate TNT more than I thought I could hate a network in my life. What the hell was going on switching to the Portland/Phoenix game?? I get that on NBAtv already. That was infuriating. I guess David Stern didn't want to see Wade get embarrassed? This is even more frustrating than the changing of games last season when the Patriots shut out the Titans. God forbid we get to see the Celtics truly dominate when a virtually meaningless game is already playing on another channel.

Considering how certain the C's will make or break a game in a half, I think this was more of a Freudian slip.

You're not kidding... love Mikey's chutzpah, but taking a shot of realism along with whatever other shots he's taking could prove a good idea. I'm not certain that Stern hates the C's as much as he loves drama. The Celtics already did their story and had the biggest turnaround in NBA history... so why allow them to continue dominance? I'm certain that Stern would love to put in his star players' stories that will keep holding the series to 7 games and feature players in their T-Mobile and NBA Cares ads throughout the finals. I was having a discussion with a friend tonight-- I love the Celtics more than my beloved Patriots... but unfortunately prefer the NFL (refs) to than the NBA (refs), so it's difficult to place as much respect to every game that the C's play as the Pats.

Loved the win. Loved KG and BBD defending Pierce from Q Rich coming over. Should make for an interesting second game, too. Here's to hoping the Bulls put their act together and beat the Cavs for our second round meet.

I wish I had the money to buy this ring (which I hate had to come to auction) just for the purpose of donating it to a DJ exhibit in Springfield.

I'm OK with this loss. Would have loved to have seen a W for the end of the season, but considering that strategically (if the Nets had pulled out the win) it could have set us up against the Bucks... not too bad. Especially considering that we sat 4/5 of our starters and played a guy from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants who I hadn't even heard of before today. Pretty impressive showing.

Nick, I'd like to see Sheed enter the locker room and have KG backhand him and go, "You tipped it into the Bulls' basket? You're f**king kidding me." With Leather nailed it today... the look on Sheed's face after he tipped it in for the Bulls last night was the look on every Celtics fan's face after they watched Sheed take a three. That said, blowing out Miami by 25 sounds awesome. I hope it happens.
