Don't get me wrong, I appreciated what Leon did for the Celtics but realistically what's his upside? Someone name me one of his moves? He has no range outside of 5 feet, tends to force shots up in traffic with no realistic chance of making them, and remains injury prone (obviously). He draws fouls but defenders have adapted and let him force up wild shots rather than full out contesting them. Baby is two years younger, has been developing his jump shot (something Powe will never do) and has shown the ability to remain healthy (knock on wood). Leon works better than Davis against a few teams, but overall, Davis is the better option and better talent.

Gotta say I like Simmons idea of Trevor Ariza. We really lacked a strong wing player off the bench. If we had advanced to play Cleveland, Paul would've been riding the pine quite early due to foul trouble and then who would guard LeBron? We need to fill Posey's shoes because that was a glaring weaknes this year. Would we be able to re-sign Baby and sign Ariza? I'm no expert on the salary cap (I'm hearing that will be tough) but if a veteran with playoff experience such as Antonio McDyess was willing to come here for relatively cheap money and less years than Davis (which seems sensible due to age difference), then we may have to let Davis go, as much as I'd hate to see that happen.

If Perk gets suspended it's a travesty because Kobe's elbow had way more "intent" as the NBA likes to define it.

Hey I don't enjoy attacking people but that opinion infuriated me, and I also have to agree with ToTheRuins. Chris Paul scores four points in a 58 point home playoff loss to Denver, so he immediately leaves the class of point guards that are somehow considered WAY ahead of Rondo.

Jester is the epitome of Celtics fans I have no intention of associating with, who possibly started following the team last year and use wikipedia to search the roster. Put in scal, walker and mikki moore? That's possibly the stupidest opinion I've ever heard in my entire 23 years of life. That would be essentially throwing up the white flag and Doc asking to get fired. And asking Ray to stop shooting? What do shooters do? They shoot, in case you didn't know the answer to that one. I'm sure you were singing his praises with all the big shots he made vs. Chicago, and now you want him to stop shooting? That's nothing short of absurb. I agree the Celtics played with little emotion and without Garnett, seem to lack playoff intensity, but Joker, you need to learn a thing or two about basketball before spouting off with ridiculous opinions that make us Boston fans live up the the stereotype: unknowledgeable bandwagoners.
