Yes Yes YEs!John Barrowman is THE Hottest man alive, that photo doesn't do him justice. Alos Christian Kane, I feel so lucky that he's in Portland, I have yet to have a sighting but It's inevitable!

I LOVE Shia. I was worried about the douchieness for a moment but knew it wasn't going to stick around. You kind of get to have a year to be forgiven for shit like that. I thought he was awesome in Even Stevens, and have been excited to watch him grow as an actor. plus he just keeps getting hotter and hotter.

Downtown, Tugboat is great, small hole in the wall type that brews their own, across a small almost alley street is Baileys Tap room I've never been there but it's fantastic from what I hear. McMinninamins are ok but kinda typical, they have a ton of restaurants so they are kind of a "chain" of the local sort. Kells is a nightmare but a lot of beers, it's huge and feels like a bunch of frat boys have taken over. On the east side is Green Dragon (where we have out beer and blogs) is great. They have a rotating stock of beers on tap, so you never know what you'll get on any given day, but everything i've had is great. Horse Brass is fantastic. It's an english pub and now that portland is non smoking it's got to be 100x better (haven't been since then yet) East Burn on the east side is great too, and they have a great great burger. Stumptown is the best coffee hands down. They have a few shops downtown and they have a full on cafe in the ace hotel which is right downtown and a few blocks from powells. You should grab some beans to take home too! Hollar Mountain is good as well as hairbender, i'm partial to the italian roast as I can get it in bulk. (I'm a bit passionate about my beer and coffee can you tell ;), which along with sushi I wasn't a fan of till i moved up here almost 5 years ago)

It was nice meeting you! I felt like such a dork. thanks for shaking my hand though and coming out. It was a great ending to OSBridge. We all had a few beers in us before coming down too :) http://twitpic.com/photos/addictedtotext i took a couple photos of you and one of me and Steph. Thanks so much for coming down to The Square. They have been a great part of the local Twitter community and it was cool. Made my week. Also RE: food carts at 12th and Hawthorne (east side) Whiffies is amazing. They don't open till 8pm though but def worth it. Whiffies is another one of our portland twitter "family" it's kind of a "geeks unite" thing, or it feels that way to me. <3 thanks for making my geeky little world that much more exciting. I'm kicking myself for not bringing my copy of Stand By Me, which is still my favorite movie after all these years.

I am beyond pissed about him as jacob as well. I grew up in Port Angeles too so it's even more crating to not see a native american playing that role, they replaced the guy who played sam in the first movie with someone who looks less native and more "pretty" stupid hollywood. don't get me started on the kids in the HS...

I'm not sure how Allison lost honestly. When they were comparing photos at the end all she got was praise and the other girl got negative feedback. She can't talk, she cried on set which Tyra has sent girls home for lesser breakdowns. I've noticed a pattern that a lot of times its White girl, black girl, white girl, black girl, etc and since the last two girls were white they had to go with the black girl even if she was horrible. Firing Paula? The fact that she was on the show shocked me, she was/is one of the most amazing super models of all time, Bigger to me than Cindy Crawford or Claudia Schiffer. Janice was good for shock value but I never knew who she was and her negativity got to me after while. I loved Twiggy but she wasn't bold enough so bringing in Paula was a great mix of the two, I liked that at this season she did a lot of the challenges and reay got to interact with the girls. Now if only they could get rid of tyra and bring in a real model and not an annoying robot...

I've heard that the industry doesn't much respect the ANTM girls so a lot of what they do is minimal to none. Elyse from season one workis almost exclusively in Asia (you can follow her travels here http://elysesewell.livejournal.com/) and i saw Yoaana in a Hanna Annderson Catalog in 2005ish, not super exciting stuff. So mostly the girls have to start over and since you have to be 18 they pretty much get thrown away because they are to old after a little while. It's sad because some of the girls really have talent but ANTM is pretty much a joke in the Modeling world.
