I am always surprised at how fast Quilt Market rolls around. It is almost shocking. Even though it is all so overwhelming, I am so excited to go. I think this will be our most exciting market ever! Mr. Fish and I are nearing our 15th anniversary. In fact, it is one month from today! 15 years ago we were married at a place called La Caille. It is an amazingly beautiful restaurant (if you can call it that) situated on a HUGE piece of property. A blank canvas. Sometimes an artists biggest fear. Where to start, what to draw/paint……it can be really overwhelming. I am facing a blank canvas. With my latest fabric deadline met, it is time to look ahead to the next one and get started. This month is my chance to realign my life. Fabric line #6 is complete and Flutter (fabric line #5) isn’t out yet. So there is a little lull for me right now with design work. My kids are in school (hooray!!), and I just wrapped up a major interior design project (more on that later). I don’t have any pattern design going on right now.
