Posted by: 1mg Of Epi | November 21, 2017 at 09:55 PM I totally agree, but the committee doesnt.
Posted by: 1mg Of Epi | November 21, 2017 at 09:46 PM Ohio State would have a recent enough loss.
Posted by: 1mg Of Epi | November 21, 2017 at 08:21 PM I think what I described is the ONLY scenario.
Posted by: 1mg Of Epi | November 21, 2017 at 08:12 PM Me too.
SEC Champ is in ACC Champ is in Oklahoma is in IF they beat TCU Wisconsin is in IF they beat Ohio State Ohio State is in IF Oklahoma loses Miami can survive a loss to Clemson IF Bama loses to Auburn & Wisconsin & Oklahoma lose Clemson Auburn or Georgia Miami or Ohio State Miami or Ohio State Thats the only senario I see if we lose to Clemson.
Posted by: His Royal Dudeness | November 21, 2017 at 07:55 PM That is to say if Ohio State beats Wisconsin then MAYBE we could still get in, MAYBE. Unlikely though, we need to take care of business. P.S. does anyone else hate, hate, hate all of this forward looking we do this time of year? I wish we could just focus on Pitt and appreciate it. I seriously hope thats all our boys are doing.
We just need to play really well at Pitt now. If Bama goes down to Auburn, then we are number 1 & MAYBE, just MAYBE we could survive a close loss to Clemson should it happen. #2 Miami Hurricanes. 😊
Posted by: Sarasota 'cane | November 21, 2017 at 12:46 PM I am keen on it also, lol.
Posted by: Terrance Sullivan | November 21, 2017 at 12:12 PM Lol. Point taken.
Posted by: Go Canes!! | November 21, 2017 at 12:11 PM As I said under AG, 1 thing leads to another.
^^^ Complaints of Diaz get filed under "Cray Cray" right now.
^^^ Go, you will remember that my criticism of the last staff was that they didnt create negative plays. I noted that we were ranked dead last in TFL and among the last in sacks. Under Diaz & Richt... Miami #4 in TFL Per Game Miami #1 in Sacks Per Game Thats Miami football. If you pressure the offense into making mistakes, eventually they will fold. Miami's defense is a completely dominant unit. I think its pretty clear that the Miami D is back. We all see the swag out there. I'd just like to see more talent on the field, so LBs that are struggling can be work on it in practice, rather than in the game. If we start landing CBs like Tyson Campbell, we could have an NFL like team again.
TruCane, you know I love you, but questioning Diaz at this point seems a bit cray cray.
Posted by: BigWindyCane1 | November 20, 2017 at 08:16 PM I think its a tough call between McIntosh and Johnson. Maybe they can cut it in half?
Posted by: Sarasota 'cane | November 20, 2017 at 02:28 PM I have said UCF over Ohio State.
Posted by: TheeMackJones | November 20, 2017 at 12:47 PM Thats actually a jab at the Playoff Selection Committee and Clemson, for their invented excuse that their loss to Syracuse shouldnt count because their QB was injured. Its why Clemson for some reason is ranked higher than Miami right now.
Posted by: Go Canes!! | November 20, 2017 at 12:37 PM But what if Rosier is injured for the 20-17 loss? Lmao.
Posted by: Go Canes!! | November 20, 2017 at 12:37 PM Yep.
Posted by: TheeMackJones | November 20, 2017 at 12:38 PM Wait, what? You know you contradicted yourself in this post right? Seems like you are getting it now. Yes, undefeated Miami is top 4 and is in, period.
Posted by: TheeMackJones | November 20, 2017 at 12:38 PM If I'm a young school Cane fan, then you are a no school Canes fan. Its a shame because I'm giving you a lesson right now. Pay attention. Undefeated Miami is in, PERIOD.
Posted by: 1mg Of Epi | November 20, 2017 at 12:22 PM A 2 loss team with 2 blow out losses shouldnt get in, but they will if they beat Wiscy, and they'll jump a 1 loss Miami. Its unreal, but it will happen.
Posted by: TheeMackJones | November 20, 2017 at 12:22 PM Again, undefeated Miami is in, period. 1 loss Clemson is in, period. Only 1 of Miami & Clemson gets in.
The only way the ACC doesnt get a spot is both teams lose their last games to S. Carolina & Pitt.
Posted by: TheeMackJones | November 20, 2017 at 12:11 PM Miami is 100% in no matter how they win if they win the next 2. Undefeated ACC champ is in, period.
