Political Statement: As a economics lefty, I can really understand the distain for the social issues left. I imagine there are righties that feel the same way about their side.

I thought righties were free market supporters? Nope, they just support the robber barons.

Jon Jones damn near kicked DC's head off. Dude was done right then and there, only because he's tough as hell did he wobble away into the cage.

Nice stuff guys. I think all of those things matter, but to me it seems that having and keeping a superstar or superstars does the most to grow the team's value. The contribute the most to growing the fan base, winning and making the team a happening. Being in a great market matters a great deal towards being able to recruit superstars also. You could say, overall a great market w/ superstars is the best, even more than winning multiple titles.

Question: In pro sports, what increases the value of a franchise the most? Championships, players, the city? If its championships, why arent the Spurs a bigger deal. If its city size, how is Dallas worth more than both New York teams? Oddly enough, I think players do the most to increase a brand's value and prestige. Look at the Heat with and without LeBron, look at the Bulls before, during and after Jordan, but again, if thats the case, how are the Cowboys worth so much?

The doctor that discovered CTE said he'd bet his license that OJ has it. From the 1st time I heard about CTE I connected those dots.

Football wont continue as we know it. It may have to evolve into more of a rugby type game.

^^^ Ive said this a bunch, the NFL is a throwing league because its the only way to reliably move the football. The defenses in that league bog the field down. Like when LSU played Bama for the title, the team that threw the ball had the better strategy. LSU was stupid thinking they could run. 3 and out all night, didnt pass the 50 yard line.

Posted by: 1mg Of epi | July 19, 2017 at 10:22 AM No, there isnt as much size, strength, and speed packed on the field on defense so the offenses are more efficient.
Toggle Commented Jul 19, 2017 on LB U Is Ready at Canespace
The college game is better because the defenses arent as good.
