I am happy you are so open with this - most people think others will look down on them or think differently about them if they grieve for an animal. "its just a dog" sort of speak. TBH - I think we can be just as attached to a pet as we can a person, and while I think you can move on a bit faster from the pet, it still hurts just the same at first. Your other puppy soudns like a freakin' sweety though. You're right, they can sense what you're feeling and she's bringing you things that make her happy to make you happy. It's adorable. My partner lost his mom last year, and even though our puppy is still relatively new, whenever he is upset about it, she stops being a pest and becomes the best snuggle partner. I hope you guys get another dog after a few weeks, they really are the best thing. How is your son taking it?

Sorry for your loss! We just got our puppy about 6 months ago, and already am falling in love. Dogs are the most amazing creatures and they manage to get right in and snuggle with our soul. <3 Get another one!

It closed down a few years ago, and I think is supposed to be a Paramount casino here soon. That spot was a dust cloud when I was there last! My first and only trip to Vegas was last year, I wanted to see the Star Trek Experience before they tore it down, so we went and enjoyed the hell out of it for two days.

Wil, you made me tear up I was laughing so hard. We just got a 4 month old black lab puppy named Emma. She's the cutest little shit, but by god if there are any socks, papers or cloths on the floor or furniature, its hers. We had a similar experience with what you were just describing. We just got a new grill three weeks ago, and thought a cover would be nice. We came home and our cute lil 4 month old puppy had done a great job "working" on it all day. Needless to say, we'll wait on replacing it.
