On a beautiful day, with a blue sky, a few fluffy clouds, a hedge of flowers, and green grass in the foreground, take a few photos. (I flipped the photo the opposite direction in card 1 to offset the "happiness" greeting placement.) Choose... Continue reading

Hubby and I headed to IKEA to purchase a couple more Bygel Rods for my ever-growing Stampin' Up! Punch family. But alas! The Bygel Rods are being discontinued, and all they had were a few of the 21.75" size, so I purchased 4 of them. Hubby did his installation magic, and I took the picture! (You can see the bottom 2 rows are the 4 short ones.) Guess I will have to quit buying punches - or - sell some of my oldies. Hummmm... MY PUNCH HEAVEN I bought them because I loved them. So how can I get rid... Continue reading

But with so many wonderful new products in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog, and the 2016 Holiday Catalog ready to be released, why would I choose to offer a card with five retired items?? SO... Quite by accident, I discovered what many designers have likely already learned, that you can make two cards with one cut on your BIG SHOT DIE-CUTTING MACHINE... WOWSER! Think of the possibilities!! CARD #1: CARD #2: HERE'S HOW: After rubbing the cutting side of my Flourish Thinlit with a dryer sheet, I placed it on a 3" x 5" piece of Whisper White Cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine. (The dryer sheet makes the Thinlit and the cardstock separate perfectly.) Wahlah! I had two pretty Flourishes! One was the positive (card #1) and the other the... Continue reading
