Andrews Federal Credit Union employees participated in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program and provided Christmas gifts for needy children in the Washington, D.C. and Burlington County, New Jersey areas. Andrews Federal Credit Union partnered with the USAF Honor Guard at Joint Base Andrews to promote their Holiday Cheer for Children Program. Every year around the holidays, the USAF Honor Guard solicits toys and monetary gift donations for military families and other needy children. Andrews Federal provided 15 employee volunteers to help collect gifts at the Joint Base Andrews Base Exchange. Andrews Federal Credit Union, Suitland, Md., donated $500 to Operation Warm Heart, a program run by the First Sergeants Council at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Operation Warm Heart is a year-round program that provides airmen and their families with financial assistance to overcome various hardships.
