I believe that this may be an intentional gaffe of Obama nation. As it has already been pointed out: the gaffe directs attention away from Health Care and it seems the more people learn the details of what Obama nation wants for Health Care Reform, the more the opposition grows. So I think this may be a very calculated misdirect considering it appears that the bill may have to wait a month or two, at least, before coming up for a vote in the House.
All this, may be why Obama nation was pushing for it to come before the month long vacation; And, before people had a chance to actually read the thousand page document like he did with the second Stimulus bill. Fortunately, more people seem to realize the farce that is his "the sky is falling" charade.
Was Barack Obama stupid to call Cambridge police stupid?
(UPDATE: An updated paragraph appears below.) Known privacy advocate and property rights conservative Barack Obama has walked into a simmering Boston-area racial incident with his surprising news conference comments about local police stupidity. And the waves washed outward further today, caus...
I think that it is great if maybe 40 percent, may have seen the light so far, and have a favorable opinion of Sarah Palin and 7% seem to be confused by the question. I feel that is is very interesting that the news article seems to fail to mention what the "question" was that they drew this analysis from.
However, I believe that this may be another example of the Drive By Media, of the political establishment in general {Republicrats & Democrats}, trying to force a square into a round hole. I think some in the news may, some how, find Sarah Palin, so threatening that they feel compelled to always try to attack her and anything she does.
Obama birthers; Gov. Sarah Palin's 3rd-to-last picnic; flu-fighters flock
In Case You're Counting We once asked an Alaskan friend what they do way up there in the brief summertime. "Well," he said, "if it comes on a Saturday, we have a picnic." Today's a Friday, but Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is gonna have a picnic anyway in Wasilla. Such outdoor gubernatorial affairs...
I think that the only method that might have actually proven to reduce crime rates is when everyone is allowed to own a gun. So, maybe the Senator was actually supporting less crime and greater security, instead of the false illusion of security with bigger government.
Russ Feingold's 'yes' vote on concealed-weapons measure puzzles the left
Russ Feingold is one of the most reliably liberal voices in the U.S. Senate. First elected in 1992, the Wisconsin Democrat was the only senator to vote against the Patriot Act and was one of 23 to vote against authorizing George W. Bush's war in Iraq. He has a 98% lifetime average from Americ...
I feel that the author of this blog may be a bit wacky; But, it is very sensible for the Senator to not 'insite' controversy by advocating people to stand up against the Mob organization some call A.C.O.R.N. though I hear they wanna change their name now to avoid the bad name they made for their own organization.
Despite the author's obvious bias against all things Democrat. I think that the Senator is right and I plan on telling A.C.O.R.N. where they can take their Census if they ask for more than how many people live in this household. However, I do actually ask others to do the same if you are sick and tired of the Government's seemingly endless meddling in how individual citizens live their life.
Count Rep. Michele Bachmann as unwilling to be counted in the census
You’d think that after all the endless election hullabaloo over Minnesota trying to fill its second senatorial seat, the North Star State would be sick of counting quibbles. You’d be wrong. It turns out that the prospect of trying to count Minnesota’s population in the 2010 Census has turned int...
This just in, I think Walter 'Cronkite' and Michael Jackson are still dead. I think even Fox News might balk at showing Obama nation press conference tonight; Because, at least I know I turn the t.v. off every time they have some 'breaking news' that I really find to be a yawn fest. i.e. a president news conference or maybe Walter Cronkite being dead. I am sure he is a great guy but why do I need to care that he is dead after living a long, rich, successful life?
Susan Boyle trumps Barack Obama on network TV [Updated]
You know the president's political clout is declining when the networks balk at showing a prime-time news conference on a hot-button issue like healthcare. The Fox network has said no outright, directing viewers interested in what President Obama has to say to Fox News Channel, while Fox goes wi...
I think this 'attack' as you call it is rather old that was started by the T.E.A. Parties the Drive By Media hates so much. Afterall, I believe that T.E.A. stands for Taxed Enough Already.
Lady Gaga inspires new Republican Party attack on deficit spending
Lady Gaga (real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) is a singer, a former stripper who sometimes wears lingerie on stage and has admitted to being bisexual. Nothing wrong with any of that, of course, but hardly fodder for the traditional-values-loving Republican Party. So it came as somet...
Who actually believed Obama nation's campaign promise for transparency in his administration? I mean, come on I think that we all knew it was just smoke and mirrors.
Closing Guantanamo Bay Prison: Still on track?
President Obama won plaudits in January when, during his first week in office, he signed an executive order mandating reports on how to close down the infamous U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba within a year. Now, the White House has granted a six-month extension to the task fo...
Obama nation's Universal Misery {Health Care Reform} opposition grows as more people read the bill and see what is in it. So, I feel that is why there is a 'rush' to get this bill rammed down our throats; Maybe, Obama used up his "sky is falling" card with the second stimulus bill, and with his popularity is in a freefall, Liberty and Freedom are making a come back.
On healthcare, Obama courts Blue Dog Democrats worried about costs
Blue Dog Democrats, those fiscally conservative party members who represent historically centrist districts, could hold the balance of power in the increasingly wrenching debate over healthcare. So President Obama has invited members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee -- the only one of ...
Really, who is surprised that Republicrats reject Sanford? I think that politically he is a leper. However, I think his 'affair' happened after he made his comments about Clinton; So, pointing that out merely shows he lacks morals or ethics.
South Carolina's Mark Sanford: 'with a more contrite, humble spirit'
South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, whose stealth vacation to Argentina in June was a boon to late-night comics and Sunday preachers alike, has now apologized to the people of his state. And Sanford says the whole experience -- ditching his security detail, telling staffers he was hiking on th...
Actually, I think that last June had 48% of Americans rejecting his current job performance; So, maybe you could use more current polling than misleading numbers from last March?
All, that aside, the more people hear about his plan for Universal Misery {Health Care Reform}; the more people reject it; So, I am all for his media blitz 'informing' everyone of his insanity.
With healthcare in trouble, Obama blitz hits your computer screen soon
For the first time, public support for President Obama's healthcare reform has fallen below 50%. The latest Washington Post / ABC News Poll also found that barely more than half of Americans approve of the way he is handling unemployment, which now tops 10% in California and 15% in other stat...
I think that the Democrat's current plan should fail, and maybe most Americans know it; Which, is why the Democrats facing reelection, are prone to vote no. I feel that the way for 'real' Health Care Reform is to eliminate the vast majority of litigation against Doctors and Drug Companies. This will reduce insurance and drug costs and thus make Health Care affordable for much more Americans than the president's bid for communizing the Health Care industry like he has the Automobile and Bank industry.
Weekly remarks -- Kyl and Obama: Differing healthcare diagnoses
Judging by this week's Republican and Democratic party remarks, you'd think there's some kind of healthcare debate going on in Washington. The parties say they agree on the need for healthcare reform. But clearly, they sharply disagree not only on what constitutes proper reform in a free-ma...
Obama nation cheers the N.A.A.C.P. as pioneers to his government approved racketeering and corruption political plan? WoW... I bet their proud to be associated with that.
Obama hails NAACP as pioneer for his political path
After a hard day of campaigning and money-raising for the troubled gubernatorial reelection campaign of New Jersey Democrat Jon Corzine, President Barack Obama popped over to New York to speak to the centennial convention of the NAACP. (You gotta be president at least part of the day.) Earlier...
I think the question was over several cases she already presided over; And, thus her quip was irrelevant.
Sotomayor hearings: Getting to the heart of the matter
Judge Sonia Sotomayor just got to brass tacks, as Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) pushed and pushed on the issue of gun rights and whether she would vote to extend the ruling in District of Columbia vs. Heller to the states. "Assure your constituents that I have a completely open mind on this question...
The Senator is a Democrat, and not Democrat(ic). I think that the Democrat, & Republicrat, parties abandoned the Democratic political philosophy a long time ago; And, maybe in a galaxy far far away.
Sotomayor hearings: On religious freedom and choosing Supreme Court cases
Judge Sonia Sotomayor had to dash the hopes of Democratic Sen. Benjamin Cardin of Maryland, who asked her how she would decide what sort of cases the Supreme Court should take up: “One of the standards I would hope you would use,” said Cardin, “is deciding this case for the impact it has on the ...
I think the hearings were a dog and pony show, and most people watching could see that. I feel that she also did herself more harm than good though despite the number of Democrats who seemed to care little about what she said as they already made up their minds.
However, I was happy that a few of the Republicrats like Sessions and Graham decided to let her point out how difficult it is believe in her honesty and sincerety in the hearings.
Maybe ironically, most seemed to understand that her previous scripted speeches revealed more about what she really thought than anything she said in the hearings. I mean really, her excuse for the 'wise Latino' stump speech was that she was trying to inspire the audience? Though, admittedly I am at a loss to imagine what she could say to justify saying what she did. Oh, and by the way, that 'wise latina' quote they read in the hearing was entirely in context despite what some may want you to believe.
Sotomayor hearings: Analysis from legal experts
Sonia Sotomayor deftly dodged conservative senators’ efforts to pin her down on her “judicial philosophy” on issues like abortion and gun control, leaving those on both sides of the issues frustrated, said legal experts following the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing on her nominat...
I think that Sessions' relection prospects increased dramatically. I feel that most Americans may rather these hearings fail to confirm Sotomayor despite how wise this latina might be. Know all the right things, I think Sotomayor may say for today; But, Sessions is right in that her past is a better judge in what the wise Latina actually thinks.
Sotomayor hearings: Sessions not buying judge's explanation
Things got a little testy when Sen. Jeff Sessions, the Alabama Republican, challenged Sonia Sotomayor on her previous statements about how the “biases, sympathies and prejudices” of a judge will affect her decisions. But first, he wanted to acknowledge her response to Patrick Leahy about the ...
The means justify the ends; And, vice versa is wrong. I feel that I would vote no if I was a Senator, because Sotomayor has proven she is incapable, and/or unwilling, to do what the job requires. That job being to 'judge' based upon whether the constitution allows the case in question or not. 'Empathy' may be great for a lawyer, however, it is fundamentally wrong for a Supreme Court Judge. I think this is why the Founding Fathers actually made it so even those outside of 'law' can be Supreme Court Judges.
Sotomayor hearings: Sessions comes out swinging
Much of the speculation surrounding the Sotomayor hearings has centered on the role that would be played by Sen. Jeff Sessons, the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee. This is Sessions’ first confirmation hearing of any kind as the top Republican, and several senators may take their cue...
Democratic VP? *eeeiiihhh* you are the weakest link... "johnny tell him what he could have won* you could have won the opportunity to be smarter than a 5th grader if you had said 'Democrat' V.P..
'Democrat' means 'Communist' versus the political philosophy of Democracy. Also, the U.S. is a Republic which is a political philosophy distinguished from the Democratic political philosophy. While the two are similar, more so they are very distinguished from each other.
'Democrats' also have abandoned their once vaunted 'Liberal' title as well, as 'Liberal' suggested 'Libertarian' values. Instead, Democrats AND Republicrats have both decided that an authoritarian {Communist} government is where they wanna be. Which, I think, recent polls may have shown is the exact opposite of where the super majority of the American Citizen 'is'. I feel that this is why the Libertarian party may pwn the incumbent parties in the 2010 elections nation wide..
Joe Biden update: No 'private meetings,' just meetings closed to the press
Possibly a very important policy change quietly emerged in the daily schedule of Vice President Joe Biden today. Loyal Ticket readers know that, as a patriotic duty, we monitor the longtime senator's schedule with a close eye for detail because, after all, this man is only a heartbeat away fr...
Democratic Gov? *eeeiiihhh* you are the weakest link... "johnny tell him what he could have won* you could have won the opportunity to be smarter than a 5th grader if you had said 'Democrat' Gov. 'Democrat' as we know them today are 'COMMUNISTs'
'Democrats' also have abandoned their once vaunted 'Liberal' title as well, as 'Liberal' suggested 'Libertarian' values. Instead, Democrats AND Republicrats have both decided that an authoritarian {Communist} government is where they wanna be. Bye-bye Burris: Obama's tainted Senate replacement won't run in 2010
(UPDATE: As predicted Burris did announce Friday that he will not seek election in 2010.) If you were thinking of running for Barack Obama's old U.S. Senate seat from Illinois but were holding off because of incumbent Roland Burris' intention to run next year, change of plans. Looks like on ...
Really now; Must all D.B.M. jump at the chance to knowingly lie and defame Sarah Palin? Is she really that much of a threat to you that you just can't help yourself?
Though, by all means continue, the more you print stories about Sarah Palin the more popular she becomes... and you seem to sit and wonder why readership of newspapers are hemorrhageing so much. *laugh*
Sarah Palin's resignation makes sense to two journalists working on the upcoming book 'Sarah from Alaska' [Updated]
Last week, as pundits and political reporters stumbled around trying to account for Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's odd decision to resign before the end of her term, a couple of young journalists who are writing a book about her listened and shook their heads. "They literally all admitted they have ...
Obama nation may have won by lying, but gravity is a female dog. The only way government can 'create' jobs is by reducing taxes. Government 'spending' money is a 'waste' of money.
So, how about Obama nation actually do something 'new' and 'original' like he promised? like say, reduce taxes on the so called 'rich'... So the so called 'rich' can hire more employees?
Creating jobs, once the goal, dropped as criteria for $3.4-billion Energy Department project
Remember all that talk last winter about the historic awfulness of the inherited economy and how urgently the new Obama administration needed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's economic stimulus bill to get through Congress and the president flew all the way out to Denver to sign the $787-billion b...
I feel that "Global Warming" is a fascist propaganda farce, so maybe this news bite is a little ironic. Though, considering the nature of what I just said they might need someone more like Adolf Hitler to organize, and hood wink, the masses, but maybe they already have one.
Al Gore likens global warming to Nazi threat
Al Gore is now comparing the battle against global warming to the fight against Adolf Hitler in World War II. In a speech to students at Oxford on Tuesday, the former vice president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate conceded that there is still work to do to convince political leaders that the th...
I think that you are perfectly beautiful; And, I like your show a whole lot more than Juan Williams. I am sure he is a great guy, but he seems to, maybe, suffer from the mental disorder they call communism.
