I have the camera set up with lens shade and optical viewfinder. It works well with the only limitation for me, noise. It's too much over 800. Yes it's slow but again, for me who is an impatient guy, it's not a deal breaker. People forget it's only been a few years since we've had fast auto focus and for a walk around camera to compliment a dslr package it is an excellent choice. Why? Because in the final analysis image quality is all that's important, and the dp2 has it in spades.
