While American and foreign automakers continued to lose ground in 2009, one automaker - Subaru - posted a 15% sales gain. Subaru, owned by Japan's Fuji Heavy Industries, builds cars at it's Subaru Industries of America, Inc. (SIA) plant in Indiana, also known for it's environmentally conscious production facility. The SIA plant also builds the Toyota Camry, a strong seller in America, but not much to speak of when thinking of cars with "personality". Subaru is also the only manufacturer that scores the highest in safety, for every vehicle it builds. It's famous "Symmetrical All Wheel Drive" system have made... Continue reading

Somewhere in the sands of the Middle East Sat an old man with a heart of gold. He gave to his fellows and friends All the knowledge he had learned In his long life. One day a young woman Asked the old man why he always Carried a smile on his face and why he was so willing to help others. His answer was a simple one: "Young lady, I've been down the road to hell and back I've seen the destruction brought about By wars and hatred of fellow mankind. There is only one thing left for me to... Continue reading

After returning home from a week’s travel, I went to the pantry to find a can of soup and some saltines for a “light lunch”. I opened the door to the pantry, and noticed that the box of saltines had been chewed apart, and was greeted by small, blackish-brown “tidbits” left behind by the critter that had made a meal out of the saltines that I had purchased only a week prior. My first reaction was to find the critter that was responsible, but there was no sign of it. I live in a newer home in a fairly rural... Continue reading

I received this message from a friend of mine from the Ukraine that is now a US Citizen. He and his family have lived though the harsh life that they endured while living under a Socialist State. He and his family are terrified by what they see happening in this country, the country they moved to so they could escape exactly what our new leaders are suggesting that we become. An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that... Continue reading

Thanks to many who have replied to the email I sent a few days ago. There is a website that points out each individual resolution that Iraq failed to meet found here We mustn't forget that we are all Gods/Allah's (insert your own term) children. Thank that great entity/creator that we in the USA have not forgotten this, and that we welcome all legal immigrants to our shores. We, as a nation, have been historically known for helping other nations in distress, which some deem unnecessary or even getting involved in areas that we shouldn't. Thank this entity/creator that there... Continue reading

Before reading this article, please think of this... I'm so sick of politics - in fact, don't even think of this as political, as it really isn't, but more as a reminder of who we are. Why are the current administration, and so many of our own people against aiding people against things like this? GW Bush had the guts to do it, and he was blasted by our own media, and by a handful of extremists for getting involved. Not to mention, the war in Iraq wasn't about 911, it was about the UN Resolution that was passed that... Continue reading
