Now...when I say the word responsibility I'm not referring to paying bills, doing laundry or cleaning your house. These activities are day to day no brainers that most people navigate without really putting to much thought into the process. And, just for fairness, there are people who have certain debilitating conditions that enable them from performing these day to day tasks and need medical help in order to get them back on track. That's a whole other post and not what this one is about. No, the kind of responsibility I'm speaking of is taking responsibility for making positive changes... Continue reading

The wikipedia definition for Disappointment is the feeling of dissatisfaction that follows the failure of expectations to manifest. This word and definition resonate with me as I am feeling quite a bit of this lately. So, I thought it might be a good topic to write about. Everyone is different, I'm learning, in what triggers feelings of disappointment and how they choose to deal and/or resolve this sometimes debilitating emotion. I myself try to recognize when a situation leaves me disappointed, encompass how it makes me feel, see it for what it is and release it. Sounds much easier to... Continue reading

These two words are the bane of my existence. And for those individuals who know me well get to fully experience the art of what I call "mind dumping". The constant writing on anything and everything in order to purge the brain for more chatter. Sometimes this chatter is very productive. For instance, when it falls in line with work related brain storming. But other times, it creates some of the most outlandish stories. I guess you could call this a defense mechanism but when one is faced with information deprivation the brain has a knack for filling in the... Continue reading
