Hey Henn, There is a reason the last 2 Administrations get what they get, it's called an "INVITATION"!!! If I was on that DAIS no one would be coming at me in any negative manner - I wouldn't give them a reason!!!

I attended the most recent BOE Meeting where Stonegate gave their "VERY THOROUGH" presentation. In this presentation they spoke of new and or temporary crossings, pedestrian walkways, traffic flow, keeping the children from any interactions with work crews, etc, etc, etc. This meeting was very imformative & highly important....SADLY NOT ONE CITY STAFF, COUNCIL, MAYOR, OR COMMISSIONER WAS PRESENT!!! Back in November our City Council budgeted $30,000 for the hiring of "2 NEW CROSSING GUARDS". Since that time they have spoke of hiring "community service workers" & now we hear rumbles of "outsourcing" this responsibility, and yet still NO CROSSING GUARDS??? If the individuals in Office & on Staff(Pickup & Connors) really give a hoot for the safety of our children a second child would not have been nearly killed at a location where a child was previously killed at, these individuals would have been present at a "very important & informative" BOE Meeting, and we would have "crossing guards" at our 2 busiest school crossings! If you watch the most recent City Council Meeting you will hear Scott pickup tell us all how "concerned" he is....LMAO!!! These individuals are playing a very serious dangerous game with the lives of our children....WHEN DOES THIS NONSENSE END???

FINALLY....SOMETHING THAT MAKES SENSE!!! Congratulations Mike, well earned, well deserved! Nice to see one of our own honored for what he/she contributes to the job & to the community!

@ u will never comply, Can't say I blame you, tough area to call home with all that goes on at Midland Ave....80 years & counting family owned Beluccios Restaurant, the ever so popular Kelly's, Midland Elementary School, the beautiful Rye Rec, walking distance to the beach & Playland!!! Yup, such an ugly place!!! We on Midland Ave dispose of our human waste in a code friendly legal humane way, we dispose of our trash legally to where it belongs, and Hen Island?

The best thing for Rye & Mr. Jovanovich is that he does run for re-election. Maybe then after he is anialated he will finally realize what the residents of Rye think of his performance these last four years!

Never Learn, Not once have I ever given an opinion on City codes as they do or do not pertain to Hen Island! Ray nor anyone other living breathing human makes up my mind for me, I voice my opinions on facts, and what I witnessed on that Island isn't fit for a dog walk, seasonal or yearly it's disgusting any way you feel like shaking it sir!!! I listen to advice from good friends and I choose to follow it or not, not Ray. I blame no one for my Support of Doug French, no one led me in that direction but myself and Doug French. I listened to what he had to say and took him for his word, it was a mistake I will have to live with. She is certainly entitled to her opinion, but I was not and did not address and certain individual, she made my comments something they were not with her slamming, I hardly call that "smart, thoughtful, & caring"! She slammed my letter like I stole her first born, yet A Councilman slams a 23 year old "caring person of the community" and Ms. Dooley has no public statement for that???
