Hey friends...(she says sheepishly) - So...guess you're wondering where I've been. Or maybe you're not...maybe you didn't miss me as much as I like to think you did. So just what's been going on? I have returned and plan on giving you lots of inspiration for the holiday season! So here's your first bit of inspiration (click image to view full size): Supplies: Ink - Chocolate Chip, Basic... Hello friends! I apologize for leaving you "uninspired" this past weekend. Our daughter, Kylie, was home from college for a little birthday celebration, so between Stamp Class Friday night and spending time together the rest of the weekend, time just flew! Today is her actual birthday - 19! How did that happen? She's a fabulous girl/woman, and we are very proud of her. Miss her already, of course. But I think you'll be happy to know that I have found a turkey made from our Top Note die for the Big Shot! Here's the little cutie (click any image to... Continue reading

Yes, I got to play with my new "toy" last night! After loading My Digital Studio on my computer, I immediately went searching for the CD that had pictures from my husband & son's trip to Florida last year. My husband, Russ, had asked me if I could make a scrapbook of their trip, so I knew this would be the first project I'd start when I got this software. Here is one page: (click to view full size) I used one of the templates that came with the software to start this book. The pages are actually all greens... Continue reading

Hey friends! Well I'm posting a little later than I'd hoped today. I hope you'll forgive me. I had to fix my iTunes library...long story there...but I have music rehearsal at church tonight, and I needed to download one of the new songs. So that and actually trying to learn the song took up a chunk of my morning. Then I finished the card I wanted to share today, but I really felt like I needed to do a little tutorial on the background. So that took another chunk of my morning. And then I had another background after I... Continue reading

Hey friends! So, I had this whole post almost done...just had to add my signature...and crash! I lost it all! ugh No problem. I'm a fast typist. I seem to be having some issues when I add photos, so I've decided to type everything first, then add the photos in the right spots when I'm done. So...onward! Have you enjoyed the last few projects here using the Big Shot? It is one of my favorite tools, so I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty more fun die cuts and textures. Here's the last project from my Big Shot Class last night.... Continue reading

Missed me? Yeah...I've missed you, too. I have a couple of really great things to show you, but unfortunately my computer and card reader don't seem to be on speaking terms right now! My writing's just not good enough to paint a picture of the card I was going to show you today. As soon as I get this figured out, I will show you what I'm working on for my Big Shot Class next Tuesday, September 22. If you're in the McHenry County area in Illinois, I'd love to have you join us. Click here more more info on... Continue reading

Hello crafters! We had such a good time at my Stamp Class last night. And I'm so glad I had some time with my downline, Mary. She is having her grand opening workshop next week, so we talked about lots of ideas and tips to start her business off right. The last project we did last night used the Mother of Pearl technique. This is a great effect that I haven't been able to recreate for a while. The last time I taught it was with a product we don't carry anymore. But when I saw our new Shimmer Paint... Continue reading
