since Gator fans don't like to talk about Miami's rich 25 year past (UM went 6-2 vs UF since 1985). Lets talk about the 2000's and since 2000 to present, the record would be Miami 4 Florida 1, Miami 1 NC and FL 2 NC. I guess it was about time Florida won a football game against the Canes. For two seasons Miami was beating Florida with their own quarterback recruit. Then in 2008 a talented youthful Miami (how many freshman were playing for UM?) team was in the game with the NC Gators until the four quarter. So, if Florida fans want to hear a Miami fan congrats, well here you go. Congrats to UF for beating Miami for the first time in the new century while Miami fielded a starting lineup full of Freshman (#1 recruiting class). Now that is over, Miami Fans break out the warning flags there is a storm coming that just might make the 2001 NC team look beatable.
