I can't wait for season four! I know you can't give away too much, but are you going to be in the entire fourth season with the hopes of a fifth? Your kilt-wearing character is often...nothing is cooler than a hardcore guild leader with a kilt!
the guild season three, recapped ... and auto-tuned (contains spoilers)
I'm organizing my thoughts for the obligatory w00tstock post, writing columns for Techland, trying to catch up on e-mail, and generally settling back into the usual work routine after an intense and crazy few days of travel and performance. Until I can put together all the w00tstock thoughts, th...
I completely agree with your statement about going to conventions and can relate. I know you'll be shocked...but I'm a Trek fan...I know, I know, you never saw that coming. Either way, I think it's great to spend time with people who don't stare at me or give me dirty looks, who think I'm cool enough to chat it up with, or who just share the same hobbies and likes that I do. A lot of people who don't go to conventions don't get that sense of community it can bring.
"In a lot of ways, for me, W00tstock felt like finally finding a home base."
When Paul and Storm and Adam Savage and I had our first conversations about what would become w00tstock, we knew that we wanted to put on an entertaining show for our fellow nerds that would be successful enough to warrant more than the three shows we originally planned. Sunday and Monday, we're...
You make me not want to have Facebook anymore...but sadly my online obsession of staying social with people I no longer talk to in real life anymore keeps me hooked. Let's be honest, if you got a Facebook I would add you in a second. However, and this may be a lame question so forgive me, but what are your views on the beloved (yet dated and nostalgic) MySpace?
on the internet, nobody knows that you're a dog
I mentioned this on Twitter, but as Twitter has grown and grown (congrats, Biz and Ev!) it's become very "in the moment" and not the best place to put very important things like this: There's a page on Facebook that appears to be mine. The problem with this is that I don't use Facebook, and I do...
I really like it...very artsy. That is one thing I truly enjoy about art, that it can always be fresh and creative in various ways. I also like the beard look too! Wil, will we ever see you doing a tour in NJ or NY promoting your books? I'd totally like to buy an autographed one but amazon does not have them!
a happy accident
A few months ago, a casting director needed to get a picture of me with my luxurious beard. Since I haven't had any headshots taken since I grew this magnificent beard, my son and I took my camera out onto the patio so he could take a quick picture that would be good enough for e-mailing on ...
Well judging by your writing right now, I think you'll easily hit that level with no problem. You have talent! I'm sure it's in the cards for you if you ever wish to explore that.
Leverage - The Two Live Crew Job
Early feedback from tonight's episode of Leverage is overwhelmingly positive, which delights me. I'm so happy to hear that so many people liked it. If you've seen the show already, you may get a kick out of the pictures I took during production and just added to Flickr, but there are spoilers, s...
Not to ask a lame question - because I may be guilty of that being that it's one in the morning (and I have no life) - but would you consider writing for the show? You obviously have writing talent as well as acting, and I know sometimes various actors from a series either guest direct or write for it. I think you'd do an awesome job...I'll be your script writing cheerleader! Once again, I apologize, it's late.

What a beautiful cover! I think this really was the best choice and can understand the nostalgia brought up by the classic 60s sci fi. I always become nostalgic whenever I read a copy of "The Crystal Caves" by Isaac Asimov. There was something about that time period that just brought forth such strong work in science fiction. I can't wait for the book!
This is the cover for Memories of the Future, Volume One
This is the cover for Memories of the Future, Volume One. I looked at a bunch of different designs (and at least one of them may be a variant cover at some point) but when I saw the comp that ended up leading to this cover, I knew that this was the one I'd want to use, because I just love 195...
This was very touching to read and reminded me of how we often try to hide our emotions for the benefit of others. I think you are a great parent to be strong for Nolan after this loss, but there is no shame in mourning on your own time. The fact that you had that comfort reminds me of just why I love dogs. Regardless of what people say, I believe they can sense emotions and are intelligent in ways perhaps we can not understand. Even if time doesn't heal all wounds, I wish you the best anyway.
in which some comfort is found
I saw Ferris' empty dish last night when I fed Riley, and it unleashed an agonizing wave of sadness so overwhelming, I dropped to the floor in our living room and cried as hard and as long as I ever have in my life. After she was finished eating, Riley came over to me and sniffed at my face. Th...
