WTF! Pouncey too? That's great, we rebuild the O-Line in ONE off season and the ONE holdover goes down for 3 months. How......? I want the details. How did this injury happen? When? Spill it!

There were a number of plays today where Tannehill was able to deliver the football on time and accurately down the field. During portions of the seven on seven period, he twice connected on deep balls, once to Brian Hartline, and another to Armon Binns, who had a spectacular day catching the football. ====================================== We need a better Troll. So how about "Da Heat" Monkey Buoy........? Is Dey Still World Champs........? Bhwaaa Haaa Haaaaa!!!! Just Saying............ ;)

Thank You Bad & Phony Phans! Well said. Almost every team in the league has concerns at this point of the off season. They should have question marks as most teams bring in new players and draft picks. All in an effort to better themselves. The Dolphins were close last season. I believe they've improved in many areas. I believe they will continue to improve, based on the average age of their roster **ALONE**. I love the fact that we have Grimes and Finnegan on the back end, with Taylor and Davis pushing. Then I'm ecstatic about Fede, Shelby, Jordan and Vernon are all getting the benefit of working with Cam Wake and JT! If Misi is any kind of improvement over Ellerbe, our Defense will be FINE! Just ignore the Troll Bait/Fair Weather Fan. It's mainly one seriously disturbed Tard. His beloved Heat lost and he has no idea what a real fan is. Because of that, he'll be extra idiotic, if that's possible.

Hey! You don't happen to be Raul's "Significant Other" do you....? Nevermind, we DO NOT want to know. Matter of fact, you could die tonight and nobody would even realize you're gone(or were even here for that matter). In short, NOBODY cares-LOL! Speaking of "Sticking to things", you need to wash your Raul off your face. You're welcome in advance ;)

Tannehill is clearly an average journeyman quarterback and not the solution for Miami. Posted by: raul | 06/21/2014 at 03:32 PM ======================================== It must be true......cause Raul said so. We all know what an expert Raul is. Wait......wait a minute! Raul is an expert at sucking cox! Unless you want Raul to suck U inside out, pay no attention to this mental midgets contributions.

What are you, retarded? All NBA contracts are fully guaranteed. Posted by: dUh | 06/20/2014 at 09:15 PM ======================================= Obviously the trash that ruins Armando's Blog. I'm quite a bit more optimistic than this demented fair weather fan. Philbin, for all his issues, really has these Dolphins on the move. Whether the hiring of Hickey and Lazor or the emergence of the 2013 draft class, there are lots of positive signs. Some OBVIOUS improvements to this 8-8 club. Some not so obvious improvements. It looks to me like Philbin has the program moving in the right direction. The defense is ahead of the offense. But, that's how it usually goes. Add in Lazor's install and it's perfectly understandable. Personally, I believe Tannehill and the resat of the skill position players will catch up soon enough. Provided the O-Line comes together in a reasonable amount of time, I can see us "Jumping The Hump" this season and making a "Little Noise"!

It's so funny how one person's draft treasure of a certain coveted player can be met with such opposing views from the next guy. I kind of liken it to the jury on a trial. Some jurors see the facts, evidence, witnesses and presentation as guilty and some say not. Posted by: Rob in OC | April 18, 2014 at 04:24 AM ================================================= Here's another case in point for you Rob. From Barry Jackson's Sports Buzz: Miami had some interest in Graham in the 2010 draft, but Tony Sparano loved John Jerry and Bill Parcells --- after consulting with Sparano and his scouts --- decided Jerry would be a better choice than Graham at No. 73. The Saints took Graham 95th, and Miami has regretted that decision ever since. =================================== No further questions your Honor.........I.........I.........I rest my case-LOL!

But for some reason everyone thinks that CJ Mosley is such a good prospect coming out this year. I sure hope our GM doesn't think so. Posted by: The Woodshed Gang | April 18, 2014 at 01:27 AM ======================================================== Wow!!!! Woodshed, it's always a pleasure to talk Football with you. Next time were both on, fill me in on why you're so down on Mosley? Not arguing with you at all, though I do like Mosley.......to a degree. I see that were usually on the same side of a lot of issues. So this makes me especially curious as to why you feel the way you do. Let me know Bro!!!!

If playing him as a rookie is the idea you better pray when he leaves the pocket the much quicker NFL MLB's don't catch him running towards a sideline. Posted by: fin4life | April 17, 2014 at 08:57 PM ================================================ I agree with this Fin4. I do have my reservations and concerns with Manzeil. The same as for most college QB's coming out. I did purposely go overboard in my critique, but it was just to get "Troll Bait's" goat. Troll Bait loves Manzeil and he fell for my rant **Hook - Line - And Sinker**-LOL~ I'm guilty, I admit it. But hey, he's so easy I couldn't resist putting the **Smack Down** on him!!!!

Posted by: fin4life | April 17, 2014 at 08:04 PM ================================================ Excellent post as usual Fin4! The people claiming players come here and are worse are seeing a mirage. They blame it on the Coaching staff, but their missing the real issue. It can be laid at the feet of the Coaching Staff. But the real issue was/is playing these guys out of position. I just have to wonder how much say Ireland had in determining where these guys would play. How much of it was on SpOrano and/or Philbin? I also have to wonder how much of this....**SPECIFICALLY**......is Hickey aware of? I wonder where he stands on drafting and signing players to bring in and switch positions? I know it can work out at times. But our recent history has been nothing but trying to pound square pegs into round holes!

Troll Bait wants to talk psychiatrics and blow up dolls on a Dolphin's Football Blog.........? That's real mature......and that's coming from: Odin-LOL~ Still, It won't change Manzeil's chances of making it in Canada. He **COULD** catch on with some team up there as a Back Up.................? Couldn't he............?

I hope he likes snow, because Canada is the ONLY chance he'll have to play professional Football. Drunk or Sober, these are "Just The Facts Mam".

Manzeil can't read a defense to save his life. He holds the ball way to long. Almost all of his success came on broken plays when he's running for his life. He's not going to make it like this in the NFL. That's not even mentioning his size and style of play, which will also contribute to his failure as an NFL QB. That's The Truth Ruth ;)

Why should you care about some other Team drafting some other guy, odin? Are you vindictive? Posted by: oscar canosa | April 17, 2014 at 07:41 PM ==================================================== Where did I say I cared............? I said I could use the laugh.

Manzeil has bust written all over him. He misses throws all over the place and often holds the ball way to long. Neither of which he'll get away with at the NFL level. A great guy to have on your sand lot football team. But he'll be lucky to be a starter in the Canadian Football League. I hope..........I HOPE like hell some idiot drafts him in the first round this year. My nerves are so bad on draft day, I could use the LAUGH!!!!

I dunno Oscar. Carr is a Wildcard in his own right. He put up gaudy numbers that are hard to argue with. But he played in a pass happy, shotgun offense. Then, when you try to get an accurate assessment of the Kid, the stigma from his Brothers career comes tumbling in. He's a wildcard and I wouldn't want to put my job on the line for him. Very intriguing prospect though, I'll admit that.

Texas, Everyone of Ireland's drafts made me sick at my stomach. For the first time in my life, I turned the draft off when Ireland took Tannehill over Kuechly. I've come to terms with Tannehill and root for him because he's our Guy. But Ireland just disgusted me with his cuteness and his over-thinking everything. You're exactly right too, he was always trying to be like Big Bill and find the acorns instead of the obvious! He even ALMOST won me over with his off season moves in 2013. But, they didn't pan out as hoped and then his entire draft class couldn't even get on the field!!!! The one good thing about it, is this year, it will seem like we have two draft classes at the same time. I expect a lot of last years class to be good, key components for this years squad.

Woodshed, I like that strategy. I would LOVE a trade back in which we could get Sua-Filo. I believe he could be "plug and play" at Left Guard. Like you said, in a worst case scenario, Fox could handle Right Tackle. But I would Take Juwan James or even Mewhort, both of which I think could start pretty quickly, if not day 1. Then with the extra pick(s) from the trade back.......? We would be setting pretty-LOL!!!!

Alves, I think Tannehill will succeed as long as we get the Line Fixed. From what I've seen of Tannehill, I don't think he needs a fantastic O-Line either. Just a decent one will be good enough in my opinion. Tannehill did get a lot of GREAT experience playing behind the worst O-Line in the History of the NFL. He had to make his reads fast, He had to get the ball out quick, he had to scramble and run for his life. All great experiences for a developing Quarterback. Now, after all that, put him behind a **DECENT** O-Line, and watch him Flourish!

Texas, I agree with your entire post. The levity of which Hickey will be afforded is what gives me confidence. He can stay put if someone good falls. He can trade back and still have a bunch of excellent options. I like Mosley at 19. Sua-Filo in a trade back. Then there are quite a few excellent options for the O-Line in rounds 2 and 3. Where Ireland's drafts always confounded everyone, I see(Hope like Hell)Hickey's draft will be easier to follow. I expect his drafts to make a lot more sense than Ireland's.

Lewan just might be Jonathan Martin as an NFL OT. If not, only slightly better. Time will tell, just hope he's not on our roster if its true. Posted by: SAM I AM | April 17, 2014 at 04:31 PM ================================================ I get your point, but NO WAY is Lewan anything like Martin. I hate to talk up Lewan, but when compared to Martin I have to. Lewan is tough, mean and nasty! He's EVERYTHING Martin is NOT! I would bet money that Lewan is easily better than Martin right now-TODAY! Despite Martin's NFL experience. Lewan has the mindset of a Conrad Dobler type. And that is one of the things I like about the guy.

I live in Michigan and I'm the BIGGEST UM Fan there is. I'm not overly impressed with Lewan as a Left Tackle. I think he's barely above average to be honest. I do LOVE his mean streak and the nastiness he's plays with. And he does play through the whistle and then some(if you know what I mean-LOL). I'm not sold on Martin either. But Lewan, I rate him even lower. It's hard to say when projecting them to the Right Side. I'll admit that. The good thing I will say about Lewan, is he's a guy I could see as eventually developing into a solid NFL Tackle. But I see big problems with using a first round pick on either of them and expecting them to start right away(left or right side). I rather wait until the second round and get a guy like Juwan Jones who has played right tackle for four years. The guy is a MONSTER and talented as well.
