Might not be great judgement in your opinion, but bad judgement isn't scandalous. Bad business, debatably, but not scandal. To some southerners having NFL teams north of the Mason-Dixon line might seem scandalous, but I wouldn't go agree with them either.

My 1st inclination is to go with the "Black Sox", since that involved more than one individual.

Are you a Yankee fan in disguise? You very much sound like one with that statement and your username.

There's no polite way of saying how emphatically I disagree with THAT statement. Lester may be off his game a bit at the moment, bit he's still much better than MatsuWALKa.

With her looks Heidi (a former Miss San Diego, if you didn't already know)could get close to any male, I suspect. The friend who watches games with me on my TV is forever wanting to see more of her on camera. I don't object to that either, though it's not as big a deal to me as it is to him.

The implication that DaiSUCKY is anywhere near as good, or consistent, as Lester, needs challenging. I'll take Lester any day of any week if MatsuWALKa is the alternative.

I'd have to know more about your job and other things to advise you about priorities, but if you want more DVD recommendations...

Hopefully they'll keep both of them. I would give a slight edge to Green if I HAD to make a choice, but they're both going to be good players long after the Big Three retire, I suspect.

I'm not "brown nosing" tyrell or anyone else. Just expressing my own opinions, whether other posters agree with them or not. It's possible tyrell agrees with me more often than you do, but that doesn't matter or prove anything.

If we could somehow get Portland to eat Nenad "Flinch From Contact" Krstic's contract as part of the deal, I'd go for that. But the odds against Portland being willing to do it are HUGE.

Look at the man's physique. It shouldn't take a professional biologist to see that he's got much more muscle than fat. That entitles him to some self-indulgence, since it's not gained by being lazy.

Am I letting my pro-OKC bias delude me, or do you agree with me that it's going to become a regular thing for the Thunder to go farther than the Lakers in the playoffs? If Dirk Nowitzki hadn't had a great-even-for-him playoff series, we would be watching Thunder-Heat rather than Mavs-Heat next week, IMO.

Once again I find myself thinking Davis should be called Big Smile rather than Big Baby. To paraphrase my own earlier comment, let's keep him if we don't have to give him a Max Contract to do so.

One vote for Tyler Seguin being the difference maker, in the process making Julien regret having sat him out in earlier Cup games. Having already made my opinion clear on that decision, I'll shut up for now.

I'm with you on that. Maybe Glen does need to learn when to keep his mouth shut, but he's hardly alone in that. Let's keep him around if we can do it at a reasonable price.

My opinion of Don Cherry is not even remotely relevant to my status as a Bruins fan. If you like him better than I do, that's life. No big deal. We are not going to agree on everything.

You may, but I can do without that shameless self-glorifier. He may be the most overrated coach this team has had in my 40+ years living in Boston.

Just wondering: Are you always this pessimistic? My own pre-playoff pick for the Cup was Detroit. Since the B's have already gone further than I thought they would I won't complain if Vancouver beats them. That much more reason to celebrate if we win.

He may not be good enough for a max contract yet, but I think he will be long before anyone we could draft this year would. Now if he could just teach Krstic to stay in the paint on D and take a charge instead of flinching...

I had to miss last night's game because of an unplanned trip to BMC when what proved to be an infection became too painful, but am glad you could catch it. I'm back home now, with a prescription for the infection, and am looking forward to Wednesday. GO BRUINS!

Now if we could just get the "New York Pizza" near where I live to change it's name to, say, "Statue of Liberty" Pizza. They already feature an image of Miss Liberty holding up a pizza rather than a torch in their posters, so the expenses for them would be minimal.

It's where I first learned about the game following the Blazers when they, rather than Providence, were Boston's top farm club, and attendence was very good for minor league sports back then. I understand the team there now, an Oilers farm team called the Barons, is drawing decently as well. So I conclude that hockey down there isn't the "brain dead idea" you call it. Though since I have a friend who grew up in Alaska I would be willing to grant that Anchorage or Fairbanks should be considered as well.

This OKC native will probably end up rooting for the Dallas Mavericks to beat the Heat in the NBA Finals, even though it goes against an Oklahoma native's grain to cheer for a Texas team. But my distaste for the way LeBron left the Cavaliers last year exceeds my disapproval of Texas. Besides which it would be the 2nd consecutive year in which it took the eventual NBA champion to knock my native city's Thunder out of the playoffs. That would be some consolation for having to wait at least one more year for the Celtics-Thunder NBA Final i have long hoped for.

Nothing really wrong with Houston, except that you don't want to go there in the summer. Summers there are even more miserable than where I grew up, and that was bad enough!

As an OKC native I hope the NHL is paying attention to the way the Thunder keep selling out their building. Not that I'd ever move back there if they did get an NHL team to share the building with the Thunder, but it would be good for my morale. My first loyalty will remain with Boston teams, whatever happens, in case anyone's wondering about that.
