Dominick Dunne just as many others who have been consumed by the personal tragedy of their own love ones was blinded by his own tragedy and failed to due any meaningful due diligence in the Simpson case. He accepted what he was told by corrupt police and D.A. officials and ran with it. The problem is that Nicole Brown Simpson was alive and well talking to her mother at 11 PM on the night she was killed while OJ Simpson was in the backseat of a chauffeur driven limo heading to LAX to catch an 11:45 PM flight to Chicago. Dunne was bamboozled by the same fraudulent characters that suppressed the initial time of 11 PM, stated on June 13, 1994 by Lou Brown and later that week by Juditha Brown, from the jury. The legal beagles gave the jury a phony stipulated time of 9:37 PM in order to hand the public this grotesque episode they enjoyed calling "the trial of the century". Dominick Dunne, RIP, it is unfortunate to say foolishly swallowed the bait along with many other hoodwinked victims of this fraud.
