I've been bitten by the gold dot bug. It all started with the gold polka dot bows I bought for Phoebe from Bloomies Handmade. Now I want everything to be covered in gold dots! Lucky for me I'm not alone and there are SO many things covered in glittery gold... Continue reading

When we first brought Phoebe home from the hospital we used Pampers Swaddlers. The hospital had given us a TON of them and free is one of my favorite things! They worked just fine and we were happy with them. Early on in my pregnancy I had plans for how... Continue reading

I am totally late to the party but I am obsesed with Don't Trust the B in Apt 23. I don't know why I waited so long to watch it. Oh, yes I do.. after Seinfeld all network sitcoms tend to bore me. But I love love love Krysten Ritter so I decided to give it a shot. I was feeling a little under the weather (read sniffly, scratchy throat and surpremely lazy) so I sat down and had a marathon and finished all of Season 1 and half of Season 2. OBSESSED I tell you. The writing is pretty... Continue reading

Dalia, Ooh thanks so much for letting me know. I have only been hearing praise so far so it's important to hear any negative reviews. I really don't like annoying set up/take down. I'll have to go try it out! xoxo Dolly

Now I know I am a Mom. You know, just in case the cooing baby attatched to me left any room for doubt. First, I was lusting over a fancy space age looking high chair and now I am "oohing and aahing" over a stroller. Don't worry, I still love... Continue reading

Me: "Ahh Phoebe is engrossed in chewing on her chew toy. I shall make some coffee and an English Muffin!" Delightful Phoebe: "WAH Hey I'm over this get over here now!" Me: Wanders over with Blackberry Jam covered English Muffin in mouth and picks up Phoebe Phoebe: "Ah that's much... Continue reading

Even though Phoebe is 5 months old I still get a little jittery when I take her out. What if she starts screaming in a cafe? What if she has a giant poo-bomb and I have forgotten to pack an extra outfit? Or the wipes are all dried out in... Continue reading

Phoebe is becoming so much more alert and curious and is really enjoying walks and exploring new areas of the city. I've had a great time walking around the neighborhood and even braving some of the hills. My legs were killing me after pushing the stroller up four of five... Continue reading

Just like that. 2013 was a huge year for me and certainly flew by. I became a full-time housewife and had a gorgeous little baby. My life very much changed, and for the better! Now it's 2014. I've decided not to make a bunch of resolutions. I just resolve to... Continue reading

You are never too young to go a-pumpkining so we took little Miss Phoebe to pick out her very first pumpkin. Most of the ones there were bigger than she was! Ok so she looks a little perplexed about pumpkins there but I swear she had a good time! See?!... Continue reading

You know, it's true what they say - Christmas really is so much more fun when you have a child. Even if that child is only 4 months old and has absolutely no idea what is going on. As the first Grandchild it is safe to say that Phoebe was... Continue reading

Now that I am getting little baby Phoebe onto more of a schedule I hope to get the blog back to it's better than regular scheduled programming! And so I present a long overdue version of TILT-a-whirl.... I'm beyond excited for the new Wes Anderson flick "The Grand Budapest Hotel." Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think. Samantha Lee creates beautiful Food Art for her daughters. I'd love to do something like this for Phoebe when she's older. I bet this takes care of picky eaters! I was a diehard lover of Domino Magazine so,... Continue reading

On August 18th 2013 at 4:00pm I became complete! After a birth that didn't go anything like we had planned we welcomed little Miss Phoebe Tesla Tucker into the world. She weighed a tiny 5lbs 14ozs but filled our hearts completely. She is now almost two months old and the days have flown by. I have truly enjoyed spending every day with her. She's so much fun and my little partner in crime! Now you know why the blog has been a little quiet. We have started settling into a routine now so I'm hoping to have more time to... Continue reading

I'm back to blogging after taking a nice long break. It had gotten to the point that even though there were things I wanted to share or write about I just couldn't sit down and do it. That meant it was time to step away for a bit and just enjoy life unplugged. There were also lots of life changes going on and sometimes you just need to process them. First, I found out some very exciting and suprising news - we are going to have a BABY! The Mr and I were so very excited but as if that... Continue reading
