This is why you never golf with minions! This hilarious minions cake was made by Melanie Broome. The minion dressed in a green golf hat and green and white checkered golf sweater has a golf club in his hands all set to swing at a golf ball, while standing on the shoulders of a minion wearing blue jean coveralls. The third minion is on the ground with golf balls all around and the tee on top of him. The first two minions are looking down maniacally at the minion on the ground. I’d hate to be the minion laying on... Continue reading

This adorable Captain America Minion Cake was made by Sandra’s Cakes. This minion is wearing a blue Captain America Cowl with an A in the middle and silver wings on each side. The top of his costume is blue with a white star in the middle and the bottom has red and white stripes just like Captain America’s shirt. He has blue pants and red shoes to complete his costume. This Captain America costume looks terrific on this edible minion and I love his facial expression. Continue reading

This terrific The Fault in Our Stars Cake was made by Cake Creations by ME. Mayra made this cake for her niece’s 15th birthday. The niece sketched the design of the cake and Mayra used that as her design. There is so much to adore about this cake. The sign at the top reads “Birthday? Birthday.” which rhymes with “Okay? Okay.”. The figures of Hazel Grace and Augustus are terrific. The bottom of the cake has scenes from The Fault In Our Stars. This one is Amsterdam. “As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly,... Continue reading

Wow!!! Believe it or not, that is a cake! This is one of the most difficult cake’s I’ve seen. If I made this cake, it would look like the later scene in the cartoon with the birds shooting everywhere. This masterpiece was made by the aptly named Make Pretty Cakes. To give you an idea of the size of the cake, the cake board measured 56" wide by 19" tall. The large bird was made with fondant feathers over chocolate ganached 8" x 6" mudcake. The little birds were made with a chocolate shell casting and had a combination of... Continue reading
