If you are so opposed the the Commander in Chief of the United States, to whom we should ALL show the utmost respect, speaking out in favor of education to your child, then kindly REMOVE your child from public school (a true "socialist" idea) and put him in private school where you have more control over what he might be exposed to...God forbid he should be presented with information about the importance of education in his future, from a man whose ideas differ from yours (who was, by the way, voted into office by a majority, which is how our system works). I would never have been opposed to my child hearing about education from George or Laura Bush, although I am fundumentally opposed to their politics. He was the President, and deserves same respect as every other President. I will teach my children, at home, that intolerance for other people's ideas is wrong, and that that kind of thinking is reserved for people who don't really know what this country was founded upon--the fundamental Freedoms which were not afforded to people of other societies. I will also teach them to stand up for their principles, but to be respectful of the person who was entrusted by the people of this country to be a decision-maker and leader, even if that person is not who I voted for.
