When I logged on this morning, this was the first items on my feed, I went straight to gamepolitics feed and even WITH the initial message, it still seemed like someone was out to say "Who the F. is Wil Wheaton and what's he ever done to speak up for gamers?" I always say the same thing that you say to your kids, that text can't convey the tone of voice you're using so your WORDS need to be clear on what you're trying to get across, gamepolitics failed at that part on an epic scale. Your replies DID come of as "I'm Wil Wheaton!" BUT not "Look how important I am, I'm an actor and a writer, bow before me!" but rather as "I've spoken up about this over and over, I've covered it in my books, in speeches, in podcasts, because I love gaming!". It was very easy to see why you were provoked, I too would've been hurt and offended by someone first questioning years of work followed by a request (that sounded like a demand) that others should do the homework for those that couldn't be bothered to find out if the suggestion was valid. All sides have two stories, gamepolitics might have had a kind voice in the tweets or an outright jerk voice, it's impossible to know. As a PC and console gamer, as someone who's got D&D sessions running thanks to YOUR (+ the rest of Acquisitions Inc and Chris P.) inspiration of people to play, I'm proud to have you represent me. You're not a dick, you ask people to not be one either, one rage against someone who should've chosen their words more carefully does not diminish your past words of inspiration to us and this post just proves that you're truly an example to follow. Keep representing us gamers like you've done in the past, you make us proud of the fact that we are geeks, nerds, gamers, moms, dads, husbands and wifes (ourselves). Yet again, I'll end with the same Jim Darkmagic quote; *JIM WINKS*

Apparently it's the "WHSmith Computer Program Data Recorder" http://www.retrogames.co.uk/more/on/details/015577 It's must've been the lack of a 'purdy rainbow (and sleep) that made me think it was the ZX81. Still, awesomesauce!

I guess we've both got 8bit egg running down our faces at a whopping 3.25 (or 3.5) Mhz then. Still, the awesomeness remains that such a wicked console was not only there but apparently playable after almost 3 decades =) We still get to do the nerdglee bounce of happiness around it, right? (Can't wait for an answer!) I'm totally doing it anyways! ;) *bounce bounce bounce*

Isn't that a picture of a ZX81? (it's nearly midnight here *yawn* so I might be mistaken though) Oh, and totally psyched to hear that Aeofel lives(!!), here's hoping for more Acquisitions Inc. adventures!

So people can start to line-up at 12:45, when can people start to line-up for the line-up at 12:45? (You all know it's going to happen!) Gawd I hope someone records the D&D Live session so that we don't miss out! Many dragons have been sacrificed for Aeofel, so I can't see how it can go wrong... you know... Apart from him coming back as an undead monster that will roam the lands and spread terror to all the call him "Al"... But they wouldn't let that happen.Well maybe Binwin would....Don't think Jim would care either way...Omin! HE would never let that happen! =) Good luck and have fun!

Yesterday I got to play my first 4th Ed. game, just wanted to thank you (and those that made it possible) for the inspiration the DnD Podcasts gave, they made it possible to get 6 people togheter for a great time on the last day of our summer vacation. We dedicated the game to Aeofel and yes, we did slay that tiny dragon in his name, he died so other would be inspired to try it out and our DnD newcomers were the first to ask when we could get togheter again ;) All thanks to Aeofel, Jim, Omin and Binwin, so thanks again and I'm glad to hear you had a wicked trip. *Jim Winks!*

*Happy Bounce & clap* This Monday it's finally going to air, yay! I can't wait! Your episode was the reason I started to watch TBT in the first place. It didn't take long for me to cover season 1,2 and 3 after that, I couldn't believe I had missed such an awesome show so thank Melora (May she grant Aeofel peace) for your episode =) Thanks for the clip, hope they don't suspend your account on the Tubes for it ;) (J/K)

I saw this on YouTube earlier and I too went .. WTF?! O--M--G!!! LOL-ROFL!! By they way, even though I'm in Norway I still really wished I had the chance to go to PAX and see it all, the keynote most of all but I did get to see it on YouTube (it said Views:0 but that didn't last long;)) and it really, REALLY, rocked! So much of what you said was dead-on what I feel about gaming, the friendships, the experiences.. all of it! So let me just say: You rock man! Oh and I asked our mutual friend Richard A. (you know, The Great Birds P.A.) to try and get a signed version of one of your books my way, you know since you never come over this way (*tear*) but now that I own all of them (-Happiest days which is in my Lulu cart right this second.) I thought I'd ask him to get you to sign a DMs Guide for 4th Ed.. Just FYI so you don't think he's lost it ;) Thanks again, keep on being the Champion for all us geeks and Nerds! (and if you ever need a DS challenger, drop me a line hehehe)
