Wil, Since there are obviously more than nine people interested, how are you going to handle this? First come first serve? Lottery? Auction? Animal sacrifice? ...etc.

Hey Wil! I'm the guy whose wheelchair you signed at PAX East. (I also made the "His Name Was Aeofel" wristbands for the same event.) I thought you might get a kick out of seeing the latest and greatest development in my story. After having to have both legs amputated since PAX East, and being in a wheelchair for about three years now...I stood (and even walked a bit) on my brand new legs yesterday! (I'm now officially a cyborg!) Here are some pictures from the day: http://picasaweb.google.com/facelesscog/WalkingDay# I'm still hoping to have you and the other celebs that signed my wheelchair sign the new legs at next year's PAX East, so I'll have to start figuring out where the autographs will go, as space is a little more limited. :) Hope you have a great holiday season!

I was JUST about to bring this one up. I still use this phrase to trash talk my friends when playing games. :)

Wil, this has nothing to do with the current discussion, but I thought I'd let you know, given your earlier reviews, that Boneshaker was the very first book I purchased for my Nook. (And not one cent of that was wasted money. Damn fine book.)

Hey Wil, awesome reading! I'm the guy that made the "His Name Was Aeofel" wristbands and distributed them for donations to Child's Play (through the Cookie Brigade). Since it would appear that they need to be updated, I wanted to get your permission to do another batch for PAX East, but this time with the "Aeofel Lives!" logo on them. (same thing, to be distributed for donations to Child's Play) I had a lot of fun doing it last time, and people really liked them, but if you'd rather I didn't, that's no problem. Either way, can't wait for PAX East!

Not just a cyberfoot...a K3 Type Carbon Fiber prosthetic! ...ok, so it's really just a prosthetic foot, but I can't even tell you how much it's going to mean to me. After getting the PAX celebs to sign my wheelchair at the first PAX East, maybe I'll ask you all to sign my prosthetic at the second one!

Hey Wil, for those of us who won't be attending GenCon, can we contribute to your "You can't have too many dice" project at PAX? (of either the Prime or East flavor) I won't be able to make it to GenCon or Prime due to physical therapy (I'm getting my prosthetic foot, whooo Cyber-me!), but I'll be happy to make up for it by bringing you several dice at PAX East. :) (Also, just as a side note, you signed my wife's life long dice bag at PAX East, and I thought you'd like to know that she's been TEARING up the dice in our game sessions. I credit the Wheaton Effect.)

I can't tell you how nice it makes me feel that in your favorite picture (so far), you're wearing one of the "His Name was Aeofel" wristbands that I made for you at PAX-E. (and just so you know, when I show off the signatures on the back of my wheelchair, yours always gets the most attention!)

Awesome picture! Oh, and to maintain my geek cred, I carry a bootable installation of linux on a flash drive everywhere I go...in a hidden pocket in my hat. Yeah...THAT geeky. :)

I've been boycotting the "SyFy" channel since their ridiculous name change. It was the latest symptom in a growing disease of poor programming choices and general unpleasantness...however, I think I can make an exception on July 23rd. It's the least I can do for the guy who signed my wheelchair at PAXE 2100-90 AD. :)

I have to commend you on this note. Despite the days having only 24 hours, it seemed like you spent an incredible number of them in Bandlands signing autographs and selling merch. I can't imagine that you HAVE to spend that much time there, so it says good things about you that you do.

I can't tell you how awesome it was to meet you, and to get your autograph on my wheelchair (and book)! I'm also thrilled that you liked the "His Name Was Aeofel" wristbands. If you still want the name of the site that I used to make them, I can list it here or email it, if you'd like to keep it to yourself. :) Oh, and I remember my promise...I will finish my book.

Every day I was in chemo, I swore I would some day make it to PAX. I made it one of my goals, to keep moving forward from day to day. When they announced that there was going to be an East coast version of PAX this year, I was thrilled! (I live in Pennsylvania) When it was further revealed that you would be delivering the keynote address, it was like a perfect storm of awesomeness. :) I can't wait for Thursday (like a lot of folks, I'm getting there a day early) and I'm looking forward to your keynote and hopefully getting to meet you!

The PAX Community DVD crew will be there recording with real video cameras, so it'll definitely be saved for posterity.

I seriously love this story. My wife and I love watching the talented Mr. Frakes when he hosted "Beyond Belief, Fact or Fiction." On an unrelated note; however, is there any word on whether or not you'll be able to make it to PAX East? I know that you like to stick to the West Coast, but I'm hoping there might be an exception, since it's PAX.

Thanks Wil. This is the kind of kick in the butt I needed. I've been kicking around the idea of writing a book about my fight with cancer (and start a totally unrelated Etsy store) and this has motivated me to get off my butt and get to it!

I feel your love for Halloween. My wife and I got married on 10/31 (not only because of our love for Halloween, but for an easily remembered anniversary!) and we're going to be running through a GURPS Zombie Apocalypse game in honor of the holiday!

Oh yeah, count me in on that, too. "Game over, Moonpie." has become my new go-to closer when I particularly nail something or best someone at...well...anything. :)

Well, that decides that. :) I'll be handing out either buttons or stickers of this design at PAX East in memorial of everyone's favorite Avenger. (And, of course, one for Wil!)

With Wil's permission, I may be bringing a bunch of them to PAX East. :)

I'll be handing these out to my gaming friends: http://www.elluria.com/RIPAeofel.png RIP Aeofel, you will be missed.

I must agree with the consensus... Wil Wheaton by himself on a show = Awesome. Wil Wheaton + Big Bang cast = Super Awesome. Wil Wheaton + Big Bang + Fruit Fucker shirt = Some level of awesomeness that math simply can't describe.

I've been LOVING the D&D Podcasts. Also, thanks for clearing up how to spell Aeofel's name! It was a nice change to see that much roleplaying this time around. Keep up the good work...or play, as it may be.

(By the way, this seriously needs to be recorded in some sort of official capacity and made available. It's too good to ignore! Also, let me concur with the other posts, you are totally worthy of such geekness...you're Wil Wheaton, for Heaven's sake!)
