As far as FL-24 ...
I guess the Republican Party is still dictating who our candidates should be. The FL GOP still doesn't get it and I blame them too for the problems this county faces. The grassroots movement will be the force who defeats Suzanne Kosmas, not them.
I think it is hunorous that the FL GOP is looking for money and deep pockets in terms of its candidates. Maybe Sandy Adam and Karen Diebel could raise more money if they were not stealing it in Florida.

By the way FL GOP ... isn't "your" new guy the same Craig Miller who was fired as CEO after Ruth's Chris Steakhouse share price plunged nearly 70 percent during his watch??
Geesh ...more of the same RINO tactics.
Lori Edwards, Karen Diebel called "fundraising flame-outs"
Political analyst Charlie Cook released his fourth quarter fundraising asessments for congressional races the other day and listed a couple Florida candidates as "fundraising flame-outs": Democrat Lori Edwards, running to succeed Adam Putnam, and Republican Karen Diebel, challenging Suzanne Kosm...
Bill Nelson avoided the health care debate, avoided town halls, and avoided his constituency during the August recess.
I've saved numerous responses his office has sent me over the last 10 months on a variety of issues. As time passes it is sadly comical how often he is on the wrong side. This guy is too busy schmoozing the left to bother listening to Floridians
I will cut him a little slack during the August recession though ... Bill was busy securing funds for trappers to catch and chop off the heads of Pythons in the Everglades.

Wake up! The liberals are coming ... the liberals are coming !
Activists keep pressure on Sen. Bill Nelson over 'public option' health care plan
Health care activists in Florida have been organizing phone calls to Sen. Bill Nelson, urging him to support a government-run health insurance plan. Last week, Nelson voted for a public plan in the Finance Committee (it failed) but some hope the idea will become part of the broader negotiations ...
Wake up Floridians !!!!
Bill Nelson IS MORE concerned about pythons in the Everglades than his constituents. He has ignored our voices and continued to side and vote with the Democratic Party for a power grab than serve the people.
To his credit his office has replied to SOME of my questions this year. BUT as you can see from the EXCERPTS from actual email responses to me that ...
He uses CANNED responses and HAS CONSISTENTLY been on the wrong side of the issue ...

... I voted for the economic stimulus package because I believe it is narrowly targeted to spend and invest in ways that will get the economy moving again. It invests in our infrastructure, creating badly needed jobs, and provides critical tax relief to businesses and middle-class Americans. It also shores up unemployment benefits and food stamps, provides aid to seniors and disabled veterans, and invests in our children through 21st Century education. The bill improves access to health care and promotes energy independence ..."

The Finance Committee took testimony from Mr. Geithner on January 21, and favorably reported his nomination. On January 26, I joined the majority of the Senate in confirming Mr. Geithner, and he was sworn in later that day.
Given what's at stake with our economy, it is vital that we have a Treasury Secretary who is ready to act ... "
It is time to retire Bill Nelson from public service on his next bid for re-election.
Nelson wakes from summertime nap
Sen. Bill Nelson was so silent on healthcare this summer that activists from his own party rallied outside his offices and public appearances. At one overheated rally, an activist was knocked to the ground. Still, the always-cautious Nelson had more to say about pythons than public options as th...
When we think of Representative Suzanne Kosmas in Florida's 24th Congressional District we think of:
1. Nancy Pelosi ... Suzanne has voted 93% with her.
2. A representative who doesn't read any of the bills she votes for.
3. A representative who doesn't listen to her conservative district.
4. A representative who dodged her constituents during the August recess.
5. A representative who will not debate the issue and looked like a complete idiot on the 53 minute video clip interview with the Orlando Sentinel Editorial Board.
The comeback of the GOP has little to nothing to do with replacing this disgraceful public servant. We will replace Republicans too!
My vote is for Sandy Adams for Congress. She's an independent thinker and have previously debated Suzanne Kosmas on the floor of the Florida House of Representatives.
GOP: 'Tide running out' on Grayson, Kosmas
UPDATE: Fla. Dem Spokesman Erik Jotkoff responds: “The only tide running out is the one carrying the failed Republican policies that left so many Floridians behind. Floridians want independent leaders who support commonsense solutions, which is why they continue to support Representatives Kosmas...
Unlike the posting by "We just voted out a Liar" many of use do look at the facts, do our research and avoid using slogan sayings that show unchecked, ignorant emotion. By the way, Sandy is running for Congress ... not trying to get re-elected to Congress.
State Representative Sandy Adams (R-Oviedo) is an independent thinker who shows up at all events, large or small, and talks to the people. Even if you are not in the 33 district you can call her office and she will assist you.
Congresswoman Kosmas avoids her constituency, does not read the bills she votes for AND votes 93% with her mentor NANCY PELOSI. Watch the 53 minute interview between Kosmas and the Orlando Sentinel Editorial Board if you need reminding of how out of touch Suzanne Kosmas is.
Candidate Karen Diebel (R-Winter Park) remains in the shadows and relies upon her surrogates and handlers to speak for her. I question Karen's mental toughness and political experience to serve in Congress.
Representative Sandy Adams has a long list of accomplishments that are tough on crime, stand up for juveniles and victims of crime, and fight for the small businesses. She's debated Suzanne Kosmas on the floor of the Florida House of Representatives before. Just ask Suzanne Komas what bill she was against Sandy on in the Florida House of Representatives. Do your homework ... you will be surprised.
Did you know Sandy was the first co-sponsor of The Florida Health Care Freedom Act (House Joint Resolution 37) which will help ensure all Floridians will be guaranteed the freedom to make the best healthcare choices for their family.
I think it is time for a debate. Suzanne will try to avoid Sandy and Karen needs to be told that she has to show up and not her campaign staff.
Examine the facts and public records folks ... don't be swayed by either the GOP or Democratic messages. Rumor has it the National GOP likes Karen Diebel because she can raise money and not because of her lackluster political experience.
Sandy Adams announces endorsements, many from out of town
State Rep. Sandy Adams is starting to crank up her campaign for the congressional seat held by freshman Democrat Suzanne Kosmas of New Smyna Beach. The veteran state legislator announced endorsements from 26 elected officials -- mostly current or former legislators, some from as far away as Miam...
I am sure that Karen has been a fine Winter Park commissioner during her very short political tenure. But voting for rest rooms in city parks hardly qualifies her to represent us in the 24th Congressional District. I won't hold all the chatter about her mental state against her but it makes me wonder if she can handle the pressure in Washington.
Let this be a warning to the GOP machinery ... don't think you have a free ride because the Democrats are imploding. We are fed up with the party leaders picking our candidates and stacking the ballots. Taking back our country means getting rid of Republicans who have also failed us.
So why is it that we never see Karen Diebel at any events? Why are her surrogates and handlers always speaking for Karen? Being passive and not getting out will not cut it for Congress. Winter Park is hardly a cross-section of the 24th Congressional district. Lou Holtz should stick to announcing college football for ESPN.
Karen ... we want you to come out of hiding and debate the issues !!!! Debate Sandy Adams ... let's compare your experience with Sandy's. Let's examine your political skills. Let's hear your grasp of the issues impacting us. We are not going to let you hide.
Holtz to headline Diebel fundraiser
WASHINGTON -- After flirting with his own run for Congress, former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz now appears to be backing Winter Park commissioner Karen Diebel in her bid to oust U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas, D-New Smyrna Beach, from her east Central Florida seat. The old ball coach is scheduled t...
