Absolutely, I hope ZQ is able to perform in more feature films in the future, even indie flicks are great... maybe like John Krasinski's recent trek, directing something here then performing in some intellectual film there. Quinto's beautiful to watch and it's simply an atrocity NOT to project him on big screens.

Your implication that your radar detects 1 or 2 ZQ psychopaths only peaks everyone else's interest :o I think celebrity obsession/celebrity culture is a really fascinating topic though, and deserves a lot more attention... even academic dialogue. I don't know if these issues pertain to something going on in the broader society, or simply to the individual him or herself. My current literature class looked at the development of acting in Ancient Greece. Some bands of actors attained 'international' recognition even then. But the very nature of cinema, casting close-ups and high-resolution "disembodied" points-of-view made possible by modern technology forces the viewer to bind their personal thoughts and feelings to the faces projected on the screen, and the darkness and enclosed architecture of a movie theater enhances this effect. Peoples' interest in movie stars is likely as new and unexplored as cinema itself.
