I am dying to get out to Phoenix Comicon. Watching the videos, reading your recap, and listening to these podcasts just makes me wish I lived closer so I could do it. Maybe next year... (pssstt come to Dragon*con!)

I grew up in Orlando, so I have a ton of great memories of watching shuttle launches from my back yard, and having the crap scared out of me on early morning re-entries (those sonic booms are loud!). For night launches, my parents would put my sister and I in the car in our PJs, and take us down to my grandparents' place (they were only a few miles from KSC). Those night launches were so bright that it looked like day light for a few moments. I am so sad the space shuttle program is ending.

Brent mentioned on Twitter that he wasn't shaking hands at the Calvary convention this weekend due to illness. You need to teach him the Iron Guard salute!

Thanks for the quick reply! (If not a full Q&A, a reading or something from your books would be equally awesome and appreciated.)

Wil, In addition to the keynote, will you be doing any signing, Q&As, etc.? I am SUPER excited that you're coming to PAX East. It's not only my first PAX, but you are the only TNG cast member I haven't had a chance to meet. Can't wait!

Wil, These are the types of stories that made me fall in love with your blog in the first place so many years ago. I love hearing your inner geek/fanboy voice come through as you describe events with such wonderful detail. You really are a wonderful storyteller. :)

When can we expect the episode to air? I can't believe I never watched this show. I thought it made fun of geeks when it was initially debuted, and by the time I realized it was FOR geeks I felt so behind. This will be a good reason to get into it and try and watch some back episodes.

I absolutely adore The Guild, and that gag reel was absolutely hysterical. It's AWESOME to see the King and Queen of Geekdom (ahem, Wil and Felicia) in such a wonderful project together. I'm kicking myself for not making it to Felicia's Guild panel while I was at Dragon*con. - Kelly The Convention Fans Blog http://conventionfans.today.com
