Awesome. Can't wait to see you on Monday.
"In a lot of ways, for me, W00tstock felt like finally finding a home base."
When Paul and Storm and Adam Savage and I had our first conversations about what would become w00tstock, we knew that we wanted to put on an entertaining show for our fellow nerds that would be successful enough to warrant more than the three shows we originally planned. Sunday and Monday, we're...
And my great regret is not paying $35 for that pachinko machine I saw at a garage sale.
Nicolas Cage has a FEVER and the only cure is more pachinko
One of my great regrets is that, when I was super famous (back in the Swatches-on-jacket years), I didn't get to do one of these bizarre Japanese commercials. I think I would have been the most number one super terrific selling power in the entire prefecture for surprise time.
Aw, cute!
Expect the aforementioned secret Fantasy Flight awesomeness in your mailbox on Friday. Er, if you're back by then. :)

to mark the passage of three thousand six hundred and fifty-three days together
We went to Napa for our tenth anniversary. For the record: being married to your best friend rules.
This might have been answered before, but is the book available in bookstores, or only on the "Lulu" page? Because there are a couple indie sci-fi bookshops I like to shop at here in the Twin Cities.
Memories of the Futurecast: Episode Nine
Holy crap! It's time for Memories of the Futurecast. Memories of the Future, Volume One, covers the first 13 episodes of TNG, so each week, I'm choosing something from one episode, and performing an excerpt for you. It will mostly be from the synopses, which is where I think the real humor of t...
That poster has a definite Robert Crumb thing going on there. I approve!
everything you ever wanted to know about w00tstock (but were afraid to ask)
I'm not going to lie to you, Marge: I'm pretty damn excited for w00tstock next week. It's one of those things where it simultaneously feels like years and seconds ago that Paul (of Paul and Storm) called me and said something like, "do you want to do a show together?" "Yes. Yes I do." "Wouldn't ...
By saying that it is different, that seems to imply that it hurts someone more than someone else.
an open letter to the guy who put just a geek the audiobook on his website for people to steal
Hi there, guy-who-I-won't-link-to-for-obvious-reasons, I'm Wil Wheaton. I wrote Just A Geek, and I created the audiobook you're helping people steal. You may not know this, but I 'm just one guy, without a publisher, so when you help people steal this copy of Just A Geek by making it available f...
That's actually not true. Stores can tell if missing items have been purchased or have been lost via "shrinkage" (read: thieves). If they notice that certain items appeal to the DICKS who steal stuff rather than buying it, they will not stock it as heavily.
Besides, it's still stealing. When is it okay to steal? When does a company become large enough that you feel it's okay to steal from?
