That must be quite a decorating challenge! But it has it's charm as well! I would love to have a tiled floor like many houses in southern Europe have, but in the middle of an apartmentbuilding it's not the most practical thing, I'm happy we have a tiled kitchen... Maybe we can have more tiled floors in our next house.

For me the boundaries between art journaling and scrapbooking are pretty vague, I have crossed over them and go back and forth, although I feel like I'm mostly a scrapbooker. I have some rules for myself on how to want to document my life, and when I stick to them I call it scrapbooking, when I just play around and focus on visually expressing myself, I call it art journalling but I might use photo's with that and might be recording bits and pieces of my life just as well. You're absolutely right: there's really no right or wrong with this!
