Congrats on the good news! NDAs are a necessary evil sometimes-anxious to hear what the dream gig is!

We have this a lot with Audrey too. Must be an age thing. What's working for us right now is patience, and loads of it. If she insists on something, we talk about alternatives (like in the case of big sis reading a book), and we also talk about when we can do something later. I've also been reinforcing that the kids need to say excuse me and see my eyes before they ask for help.

As I sit her after staying up til 3:30am working I know it's all worth it. Despite having to prop open my eyelids with toothpicks, I do love WAHM precisely because I get to juggle it all. Sometimes that means postponing a call to help a sick child, or it means putting on a movie so I can work next to them while someone else entertains them, but it's good for all of us. I completely agree that having a supportive partner makes a huge difference, my husband is also extremely supportive of my work and I'm grateful for that. Because he's so great about my wacky hours, and crazy schedule I take one night a week off to just be with him. The bonus is that I get to financially help out, be with my kids, and be there for all the important stuff like the daytrip I'm about to embark on with them.

You totally nailed it. I hate saturdays. When I tweeted about it once people didn't understand. I'm sorry 2 days at home (or doing errands or outings) with everyone is exhausting.

Thank you so much for supporting this cause with me! I love the way you shared this with your kids. And I laughed out loud at the geography lesson. Happy to lend you our US map. :)

It looks like you had a great time. A balance of family fun, and "you" time. The spa sounds amazing! I bet the kids are clamoring to go back. I think my fav shot is the slide picture. Super cool!

Wow, those parties sounds fun! I would buy sweaters and long sleeve shirts. Maybe a pair of jeans too. And a ruffle scarf, gloves, uh oh I think I just spent more than $100! I subscribe, voted, promoted you on FB and twitter.

You look gorgeous! Thanks for exposing your body and how you are learning to love yourself. I could really use a dose of self-love.

I'm taking the pledge. No more pulling it out at stoplights either.
