I linked over to this site from the NY Times obit. I knew Marty. Mostly as the father of my school days' friends, his sons, Gregg and Paul. I enjoyed a lot of happiness in those days with those friends and with that family. We skied together, played together, went to movies, rode bikes, and just hung out at their Briarcliff Manor home. My condolences for their loss of Marty, father, husband, and mensch, for sure.
