I agree 100%. I loved my Google Reader... until they changed it without asking me. Google wants me to figure out how to use G+ to see my friends' recommendations. I looked at G+, but balked at a "hey, you're giving everyone access to your Picasa album" type message, but gave me no "No, thanks" button. I haven't devoted time to figure out how they're screwing me by creating a G+ account. I loved my iGoogle homepage... until they changed it and made ridiculous UX changes. This is all on purpose. And it sucks.
