About 90% of these posts show how classless and clueless Florida fans are. As for FSU fans at least Gators can read, can't write very well but at least they can read without a tutor! 58 game winning streak at home, 34 game winning streak, the most players on NFL rosters, 5 National Championships, three undefeated, three in five years (87, 89 91, for the uninitiated)Players who graduate, instead of ending up on the police blotter. Have to admit, Alachua County Detention center could have had quite a team the past few years. 251 traffic citations, coach who is giving the swamp a bad name, (now called the Waffle House) Tebow a real honest good guy! Too bad he had so much practice for his prison ministries in his own locker room. UF president leaving the scene of an accident.(Parking garage collision he drove away from) Great example Gators! By the way your NC's are now past history too! Never saw a Canes QB crying like a baby on the sidelines! I could go on but these remarks should be more than enough to prove my initial comment as true ( first point made, for you Gator fans, who are seeing red and not what is being written.) (Red as in RedNeck) See Ya but it probably won't be 2013 since UF is trying to cancel the contract for that one.

Hey Manny, Hope you are doing well. I have to say I disagree with you about Anderson being the first big time recruit RS has signed since the NW boys came on board. So called recruiting experts say the U's recent class is unimpressive? So what? Its just opinion. Good thing RS doesn't leave his recruiting choices up to them. I believe Linder would qualify, T. Glenn, K Nelson, Storm Johnson, Shaylon Green, Tyrone C. and a few others. Also what has Webster accomplished at USF? I believe he played against the U and I don't remember his name being called if he did. Matt Patchan, what has he done at Florida? Riding the pine is what he has done so far and managed to be with the wrong crowd or at the wrong place to get shot! I have heard an unsubstantiated rumor that Bryce Brown has left UT. This from a fan and friend who lives in Kansas. It was rumored that he was going to join Arthur at KSU. With all the shenanigans he pulled did he really get away or was he let go by RS because of his actions and his street agent. Patterson has turned out to be a very good player but I saw him getting beat quite a bit last year. Not only that, but their were rumors that he wanted guarantees that he would start as a freshman, Again did he get away or was he left to go elsewhere because of this? Also RS has said that they didn't go after everyone in the So. Fla. area due to team needs and knowledge of grade or character issues. Also some of these kids want to get out of town and surprise, surprise, their favorite team is someone other than the U. I will predict, that the U's next Championship will be anchored by this years outstanding recruiting class! Thanks for the sounding board.

I feel that the truth about some things needs to be revealed about some situations that occurred on this blog concerning MM01 and Soup. I was going to keep things to myself but since Soup wants to reveal things so will I. I speak entirely for myself. When MM01 was banned it was because soup felt that Manny was being trashed on this site undeservedly. That is not the problem. The problem with the relationship began with disparaging e-mails Tom sent to MM01 and Myself. As many of you know I lost my job in October and MM01 and I both lost jobs due to lay-offs in Salt Lake City where we were working for some friends. As a result of being under employed and unemployed we decided to combine our incomes in order to survive. One way was to live together. Fortunately as father and son we get along. Soup took it upon himself to ridicule and disparage the fact that Michael wasn't working and that he was living with me. Soup has no idea about how hard MM01 was looking for work and to improve both of our situations. Tom took it upon himself to criticize him for things he had no business doing so and for a situation he knew nothing about. He also criticized me for allowing Michael to live with me and was critical of us for other things, Telling Michael, get a job, implying he was lazy, calling Michael an ASS and involving himself in our lives in a way that was far out of bounds. If you want word for word I will give it to you. I also know for a fact that others on this blog have had worse things said to to them by Soup. Soup bears the responsibility for his actions and I'm afraid that although he has said disrepectful things, To MM01 , myself and others that he comes off looking like a prince when he has engaged in things not many would not approve of. You want copies of the e-mails he sent my e-mail is [email protected] This situation with MM01 and others who have been attacked personally is not about being banned from the blog or about the rules of the blog. It is about the treatment of others by someone pretentending to be something he is not. Posted by: RandyCane | March 04, 2010 at 04:57 PM

Your comments about Dick Cheney were out of line. Plenty of your readers happen to agree with Mr.Cheney on many things. I can imagine if someone said the same about Mr. Obama what your response would be. You expressed surprise at the media showing no class in their treatment of Tiger Woods, why are you surprised when you yourself make classless remarks like you did about Mr. Cheney? Stick to sports! Please stick to something your good at and that is reporting on the Dolphins.
I for one am tired of the BS

Canez1, I don't get your logic. J12 has proved nothing?! Are U serious? Behind a "crap" line, 3300 yards and 24 TD's with a busted gun for half the season?! Do the INT's need to come down? Yes. Oh, but Stephen Morris is gonna be a stud! Well' let's just not anoint the kid. ------------------------------------->>>>> All Jacory has proven is he can hit wide open receivers and throw game losing INT's. That was the theme for 09. Not saying he is horrible but I am saying he has proven nothing on the field. IMO his injury played a huge role in his 09 but it is what it is and at this point I say open up the comp and let the best man win. Posted by: Canez1 | February 23, 2010 at 09:54 AM I thought QB's were SUPPOSED to hit open WR's. Isn't that kind of the point? Seriously, you need to cancel Canesport. It's warping your mind...

If they keep doing this I will give them the nickname "Diamond Canes."

Got to give a shout out to the diamond canes, for coming from behind yesterday to complete the sweep of Rutgers. It's early but a win like this pays dividends down the road.

What I hear from U bg is that RS is getting this team to the point of having enough talent, enough bodies for the team to have depth at key positions, TE an exception, competition among positions, and that there is a hunger that drives the work ethic of the current players, including incoming freshman. The future looks brighter than it did when RS took over.

Good post on Clemson QB. this suggestion was posted many weeks ago on this blog during Bowl Season that he might go the baseball route and forgo his final football season.

Without the turnovers what would have been... UM must lead the conference and the NCAA as the team with the most turnovers. So many lost opportunities to score. It is very frustrating to watch.

If Miami is going to evaluate all who play basketball by the Rick Barry standard, then they will only have one jersey retired forever. I was fortunate to see Rick Barry play many times while at UM. If I'm not mistaken they played at an auditorium out by the Beach somewhere. With his underhanded free throws he was deadly accurate. He would have been deadly from the three point line if they had it when he played. I'm sure that he led the NCAA in scoring at least one year and made All-American at least three times. It's been a while and I'm as old as solar, well maybe not that old! but I would be willing to place a bet on those stats. When it comes to McClinton, I have no problem with his number being raised along with James and Barry. Two times voted All-ACC is nothing to sneeze about. I'm not comparing him to anyone else who ever made All-ACC but you must admit he is with some impressive company. Miami not being a basketball school. I mean how many years did they not even field a team? A guy makes that squad twice; I often wonder what he might have done at a UNC or Duke with the tradition they have. This guy with not much talent around him makes this squad twice, at a school whose greatest player played his last game in 1965. Whatever our view, the fact is, number 33 is now retired at the U.

I would describe Miami as a sleeper team for next year. Given the schedule they should know before the end of September what they have.

Before the 83 Season Miami wasn't even ranked or were they? I know after the opening loss they weren't?
