For the past few days I have had no end of trouble trying to change and adjust to an Internet browser. I have tried the lot and have come up with one degree of disaster after another, and I'm heartily sick of it. Why can't they just leave people alone to get on with the pleasure on enjoying their Internet exposure. I'll tell you why, Cookies and Big Brother is watching you. For whatever reason still remains a mystery to me. So, if you happen to be just some poor old fool who actually enjoys penning a few stories at... Continue reading

That's some 'croc' all right and many thanks for the helpful advice from WMS. I'm quietly positive that if I got grabbed by this monster, I would have time to gouge it's eyes out and better still still have time to reach down and aspirate it's palatal valve. You'll come a Waltzing Mathilda with me? The Filipino's also made a big mistake with all the fuss and hullaboo as all they had to do was hire Croc Dundee to manhandle this beast by himself, provided of course there was some Sheila in a thong on the banks applauding him. Now that's entertainment.

Glad to see old Shakespeare is still making waves after all this time. I guess it comes from speaking the truth and telling tales which never go out of fashion especially in English, that splendid thing.
Thank you Gavan, at last someone who understands. After the recent Tri Nations, I'm inclined to agree with you. Prior to that I thought they would choke. I believe when they (All Blacks)think that they are vulnerable, then they are at their most dangerous. As far as the Bokke are concerned, then all I can say is you took the words out of mouth, and thank you for your visit and comment. Trust you are looking forward to it.

My dear old chap, it is always a great pleasure hearing from you. Believe it or not the USA is playing in this rugby World Cup, yet whether many people know this in the good old US of A, remains a mystery. If only I could get some of their supporters to comment? I'm a bit new to this blogging thingy and hopefully and gradually over time it can become the window to my soul. Unfortunately I gave three years of my life trying to open up the window to my soul on another platform (which for delicacies sake), shall remain nameless, to little or no effect and my own way is to go down fighting. So then, some of those stories will be included here, until such time as I have cleansed my soul and can begin afresh. Thank you for your visit and comment and as already stated, so highly appreciated.

The longer articles are in the link but thank you for your comment and visit. The thing to remember is, eventually you got it right and well done. I often think that people are in too much of a rush these days? Bring back the old more leisurely era. I know you can't but I wish it.

To hell with not being trained to comment. As far as I'm concerned you can comment all you like and I appreciate that.

Seeing as the Irish are everywhere and have such charm I assume so?

It's not so much about the Boks but about them and thank you for your visit and comment.

I believe you and I think "Flashman" was referring to him in 'The Greta Game', another spellbinding read but in today's sad world would not be considered 'PC' more is the pity.
Thank you Sandy, both for the visit and the comment.

That's an interesting point of view Fred and thank you for being bold enough to tell it here. I agree, it's a sad, sad, thing when money begins to rule sport, but, will they choke?

No worries, at least baseball is still a sport and thank you for visiting and commenting.

Thank you Michey and that is high praise coming from you. I'm sorry to hear your husband got sick but perchance someday you can make it? I loved it there.

Actually I thought he was referring to some Italian Count?
Aye, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. It makes wonder therefore why so many men do this?
I'll have the roast beef and three veg, ta. Personally I found the Pacific series a load of junk after all the hype and I was looking forward to it and was so sadly disillusioned. Whatever happened to; 'hey diddle, diddle, straight down the middle'?

Well my eldest daughter got married a couple of weeks ago and I was the proud, Father of the Bride. I'm still trying to come down from the high of it and if I could have the whole week all over again, I would, such was my pleasure with the whole thing. I could rattle on and on about this. Suffice to say I did a little article on it a few days so will not repeat myself. Anyone interested can view it here at; Father of the Bride. The other thing to remember is that I have been living... Splendid read as always. It's a funny thing but nothing ever really changes? Certainly not in the political world, one fool replaces another. As old Count Avitabal was so prone to say; "does a gentleman got to stay in a hotel"?
I couldn't agree with you more. This is just the type of effete prick who brought this on all of us, not to mention women of the same calibre? In my opinion we have now reached a state of dangerous feminism? Have a look around you and brother you asked for it.

You are preaching to the informed. There comes a time when everyone has to stand up for what they believe in and not for some archaic dimension which makes them popular. It's an eye opener for sure, but, the same old people continue wearing blinkers for their narrow views. For God's sake open your eyes people, once and for all.

So London is on fire and many people are shocked, saddened and disheartened. I feel there is no need to be and this may sound strange. Many things have occurred over the last hundred years. Communism appeared with it's ugly head but thankfully died a very quick death (over a period of time), however universal suffrage (amongst many other things stuck), people lost sight of religion and the hippy movement was born and hedonism and anything goes became the norm. Sex, drugs and rock and roll. Groovy man. Left wing politics became the 'in thing' and people could no longer... Continue reading
