I dunno how you feel about Maurice Williams, but I came a cross a kind of "quick sheet" he did about Augustine's general interpretational points on Revelation. Obviously some of his points are debatable (such as whether Augustine was truly amillennial or post-millennial), but it's decently useful.

Is it ironic that most secular views of apocalypse seem to involve God's absence and mankind's anger over it? Almost as if the world were saying, "We don't believe in you, but if you'd like to change our minds now's the time to do it." Apocalypse is almost synonymous with "global fear."

If you REALLY want to liturgigeek it up, I recommend for doing the whole morning liturgy and not just the Scripture readings.

Congrats on taking the first step. I'm sad you wouldn't go full-on Anglican, but I understand the job security of the UMC. Looking forward to hearing more.
