I love this adventure series. I want this for myself and my boys will eventually be old enough to enjoy them as well!

One of the strange things about living in Southern California is that sometimes you can't tell the Asians apart from the Latinos on quick glance, especially in the summer. The boys and I spend a good portion of the year... Continue reading

When I was young and had just come to the U.S., for some inexplicable reason I thought that all Korean people were good and if there were bad people in the world, they must be those non-Koreans. At some point,... Continue reading

I became a fan. This sounds like a great cause!

I'm a Christian and I didn't read any religious mockery either. Any Christian with an ounce of CCD/Sunday School training knows that eggs have nothing to do with Easter anyway, it's just another example of syncretism.

This needs to be real. Someone out there, make it happen!

When we only had 1 child, we lived in a 1 bdrm apt in NYC. Our neighbor also had 1 boy, a year older than H. Our apt looked like it was a giant toy store with baby stuff in every corner. Their apt was pristine, with one little fabric crate of toys hidden under a table. So I know it can be done. A lot of times I feel like I buy the toys for myself. I find it really hard to throw their clothes away. I only recently started throwing their "art" in the circular file. Must let go.

You make a good point. Sorry for asking you when you're having another one. People ask me if we're having more and I give them different answers depending on whether the current two are acting nuts.

I don't even remember what my sons looked like down there before they were circumcised. My husband said absolutely positively that they had to be circumcised because his parents didn't and he chose to do it later on in life and the pain of it was something he did NOT want to share with his sons. Just my two cents.

I love that! I will definitely use that in the future. I will probably join the Y, after I get motivated again. I told my husband after the incident my new goal was to gain weight to be 500 lbs.

Thanks for the support everyone! I did a Jillian Michaels workout on Wii today and already I can feel the muscles tightening. I'm definitely going to check out Curves in the next week. It's too late for New Year's so it'll have to be my Lenten resolution!

Sounds great! You are so funny, though. I want to leave my kids home alone all the time. I bet they wouldn't notice if I went to the supermarket across the street and came back in five minutes. Only the fear of child protective services keeps me from doing it. So now we've been out of eggs for six days.

My 3 yr old son actually ran away and my husband followed him to the end of the street. I think he overheard me saying I wanted to run away (I would say this every time they drove me nuts) so he was going to pre-empt me. I stopped saying it and he did too. I didn't realize how much what I say gets into his head until this happened.

You're tougher than I am. Santa is another way to get H to behave. I'm going to keep up the myth as long as it works. And I know you're not kidding. LOL.

Good to know that she is ok now. Amazing that your ex agreed not to take such long trips again. Don't be discouraged by the potty training. Better she be happy and pooping in her diaper instead of holding it b/c she doesn't want to use the potty and becoming so constipated you have to stick a q-tip with KY up there to get it out.
