Jennifer Brittingham started her adventure with Every Nation in January 2004. Although Jennifer has had a variety of jobs through the years, such as assistant pharmacist at Walgreens, a soccer coach, a marketing manager, and donut maker at Fox's Donut Den, she is currently our MPD coordinator. Jennifer works toward expanding the reach, and impact our missionaries have by training, coaching, and encouraging our missionary staff in their partnership development. When Jennifer is not developing tools and aids for our staff you may find her kicking a soccer ball down the field. Jennifer also has a lot of fun volunteering... Continue reading

A crucial step in a missionary's journey to becoming a vocational minister with Every Nation Ministries — after responding to and confirming God's call on one's life — is developing ministry partners through a partnership development training program. Every Nation Ministries Department, Ministry Partnership Development (MPD), will be doing training on partnership development to teach soon-to-be ministers the why and how of finding partners who will provide the financial support for reaching campuses, or cities and nations, and even new churches. God calls us to either "go" or "send" into the mission field. Partnership development is the bridge between those... Continue reading

Brittany Butler started at Every Nation as a Human Resources intern, but is now a full-time Human Resources assistant. Brittany calls herself the "princess" of the office, hence her tiara-covered work space. When Brittany isn't working on our dental benefits, filing paper work, or helping with the hiring and exit processes, she enjoys running, making crafts, and trying out yummy new recipes. Since Brittany will be walking down the aisle very soon, she also loves decorating her soon-to-be new home. Brittany might also be found jammin' to country music on her drive to and from the office. Here's some more... Continue reading

Fourteen students arrived in Nashville early June with high expectations of change, growth, and conviction. They were not disappointed. Pastor and teacher Paul Barker describes effective campus ministers as: “authentic followers of Christ, who are continually increasing in professional development, leadership ability, and Christ-like character.” That's what the School of Ministry, Nashville, trains its students to be. On August 12, they will finish their studies, ready to take what they’ve learned back to their respective campuses. A few of them shared their experience, and some mentioned how much they've learned about the importance of knowing the Gospel. Brian O’Hare from... Continue reading

Kerren Barker once told a friend that she would never become a missionary. Now, a few years later she is eating her words after marrying into the Barker family, and working as our Operations Coordinator for Ten Days Mission Experiences. When Kerren isn't coordinating trips, managing projects, and keeping Ten Days moving forward administratively she enjoys trying out new recipes and tinkering with them to create a tasty dish. Kerren does have a voracious appetite for unique foods, but also hungers for hearing interesting information as well. Here's a little bit more about Kerren: Worst Dirty Santa gift ever? An... Every Nation Ministries’ co-founder, Steve Murrell, is the author of the new discipleship-focused book, WikiChurch: Making Discipleship Engaging, Empowering, & Viral. Pastor Steve wrote this book to help others discover how the same old boring strokes can grow a church spiritually, and how having the latest, most creative ministry gimmicks is not the key to real discipleship. WikiChurch recognizes that the goal as followers of Christ remains the same through time, “Go and make disciple of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Steve Murrell’s story is unlike most missionaries. He was not necessarily called into the mission field, it just happened. He... Continue reading

Jessica Barker grew up in a Christian home with a heart to see the nations know Christ. While on a mission's trip when she was sixteen, she realized she wanted to do missions full time. Where exactly would take some time to figure out. She attended the eight-week School of Ministry, Nashville, when she was twenty years old. A year later, she graduated from Libscomb University and enrolled in the School of World Missions in Manila, Philippines. "I decided to go to the School of World Missions because I wanted more exposure to missions, and I knew the training would... Continue reading

God is the ultimate multi-tasker. While changing lives, He also uses a large youth retreat to help pay someone’s way to a family wedding. Addison, Lisa, and their children, Anastasia, Silas, and Ariston Back up to September... Lisa’s brother is getting married on the East coast. The Tweedys live in Arizona and aren’t exactly sure how they will afford to transport the family (two adults, three children) in order to attend. God says pray. So they do. And that’s... Statistically, people are the most open to receiving the gospel during their college years. For this reason, Every Nation Campus Ministries (ENCM) began in order to reach the campuses for Christ. Through small group meetings, special events, and the training of campus ministers, ENCM is reaching thousands of students across the U.S. and the world. ENCM is always looking for new and exciting ways to reach this generation of college students, so it comes as no surprise that they are launching a new operation, beginning fall 2011. “You Have a Part to Play” is a six-week small group series with... Mike and Christy Cantrell are planting a church in Lexington, Kentucky. When one life ends, another begins. Mike Cantrell gave his life to Jesus at a funeral when he was twenty-five years old and became immediately involved with the Every Nation church in Murfreesboro. As a coach and teacher, he served the church by reaching the students at his high school as well as the students at his college, Middle Tennessee State University. There he met his wife, Christy, and married her in 1995. By 2001, Mike was a full-time campus minister. In July 2010, Mike and Christy began praying... Continue reading
