I like both spike Lee and Tyler Perry movies. They both have messages to them and sometimes when I see a movie I don't always want a message, I just want some action or laughter. Growing up seeing Spike Lee movies always made me angry and want to fight the white people when the movie was over because of the racism he portrayed. Tyler Perry shows and movies show me that In any issue I can overcome it and I can forgive and life is what you make it while laughing. I'm happy after watching his movie and his TV shows. I grew up in the projects and I came out. I am successful so I can relate to Perry's movies as far as overcoming and Getting through with your faith and family. The cosby's showed that there is a such thing as black being able to have the white picket fence and be black and successful. In The house of Payne, The father runs the fire house and the son is a fire man. Those to me are working successful men. It bothers me when people talk trash about the show and never saw it at least once. The browns is about Mr Brown having a boarding home. Hellooo! Helping people. The married couple has adopted children. Watch it for what it is worth and stop expecting tv shows and movies to be exactly realistic. Spike Lee make a movie or just sit back and give props to another man who is making it in the industry. Even if it is about the money, people are enjoying what Perry is making and supporting it and that is how he is making the money so I say keep giving me my money's worth it is a recession and I don't want to see no crap about a man staring at a goat!!!!
