No, that’s not a requirement, turang. Suppose one of the logicians doesn’t want beer. Then he or she would answer “No!” — assuming logicians are bound to answer truthfully — because then not everyone would want beer. A logician who does want beer but isn’t the last to answer must answer “I don’t know” because the answers of the remaining logicians could still indicate that someone doesn’t want beer so not everyone does. The last logician, having heard “I don’t know” from each of the others can deduce that they want beer, and if he or she does too then can be confident that everyone does and can answer “yes”.
