Since when is not being able to count an Indian stereotype? From what I've seen, the stereotype is opposite. Indians in popular culture (like in movies) always seem to make education a number one priority--and in the movies, to an extreme.

After the incident, you apologize to the counter clerks for her behavior, in a tone that she will hear. Later on, you speak your peace (piece?). What are family members for, if not to correct each other's behavior and to help smooth the road ahead?
