Pretty wild story right? He was in the class above me at Exeter. Didn't know him really but he was clearly talented and I'm not surprised he found success in music. I was certainly shocked when I heard about his prison sentence, and his commutation.

Interesting. Is it that you have receipts in your wallet and you want to process them when you have downtime? There's probably an app for that, but I am thinking a low-fi solution is you email yourself a comma-separated list, like this:
Chocolate,$5,Client A
Coffee,$10,Client B
Brownies,$15,Client C
And then when you're in front of a laptop, copy-paste the list into Excel using the Text to Columns function.
