CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT I was recently recommended the Panic Away product from a couple of friends that are fellow sufferers of panic attacks and general anxiety- they reported some really positive results with the treatment programme, and so I decided to invest in it myself. I've only had the product a few days as of the time of writing this review, so I will report back to you all in a few more days to give you an update on the product. In the meantime, here is a video explaining a bit more about... Continue reading

As you already know, public speaking is one of the biggest fears people have. Even celebrities who make their living performing in public have bouts of stage fright. Barbra Streisand and Rod Stewart have had well-publicized negative experiences, and it goes to show you that even millionaire singers aren't superhuman. Almost everyone experiences a bit of stage fright to a certain degree. It usually manifests itself in increased sweating, raised body temperature, and heightened heart rate. At its worst, it can ruin your performance or prevent you from getting Read more ... Continue reading

Mesothelioma refers to asbestos-caused cancers, which affect the lungs or abdomen and because different forms of it can go undetected in the body for a while, survival rates are often not that positive. A Mesothelioma Prognosis depends on a number of individual factors that surround the person in question: what their general health is like, how long they have had it for, where it is, and how receptive they are to treatment. There are three types of Mesothelioma and each averages a different chance of survival. Epithelial mesothelioma is the most common, affecting up to 50% of cases but carries... Continue reading

Addington Palace Wedding Brenda and I are pleased to say that we have shot at Addington Palace a couple of times now, and we have always been very impressed with the character of the property, as well as the beauty of the grounds. In and around Croydon it has picked up the reputation of being one of the most stunning venues to get married in. We actually shot Brenda’s brothers wedding at Addington Palace too. I remember the day very well- we grabbed a great group shot of the all the guys standing on the famous fallen tree, which you... Continue reading

Anxiety is something that everyone faces from time to time. It might be worry over an upcoming meeting with the boss or a car that always breaks down. Either way, this type of worry is normal. Which leads us to wonder, when is anxiety a bad thing? Believe it or not, there are good and bad forms of anxiety. While one form of anxiety can help us make major decisions in life or prepare ourselves for something big, bad anxiety can ruin our ability to think clearly. If you're curious about what type of anxiety you're dealing with, here's how... Continue reading

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder that is triggered by a stressful or traumatic life event. This traumatic event generally involves the threat of injury or death (such as assault, rape, or terrorism, for example), and may cause lasting repercussions that present themselves gradually over time. Although it is known that post traumatic stress disorder is linked to trauma, the underlying cause is not exactly known. PSTD is thought to be the result of biological, psychological, and situational factors. For these reasons, PTSD is How is PTSD Diagnosed? Continue reading

I was a huge fan of Rainbow growing up in the 1970s... And of course my favourite character of all, maybe because he was the nicest, was George. I didn't have any time for Zippy, he was way too sarcastic! Anyway, if you want to be nostalgic and relive part of your youth then this George Costume is a great Read more ... Continue reading

Mesothelioma is a kind of cancer, that is statistically quite rare, that targets cells in the surfaces of the body’s internal organs. It mainly attacks the lungs or abdomen, and there are very strong and close links between the disease and prolonged exposure to asbestos. Typically the latency period in this form of cancer can be very long. Latency refers to the period of time between the initial exposure and the onset of the illness. In many cases workers exposed to asbestos at an early age go on to develop the condition in later life. Mesothelioma in the Chest In... Continue reading

Maiko and Fabricio got married on a lovely day in August. Their day started off at the very grand Wandsworth Registry Office, with just themselves and two other couples present (not forgetting little Natalie of course!) This was followed by portraits in Richmond Park. For those of you that don't know you need a license to photograph for commercial use in any of the Royal Parks. We found this out literally the day before the wedding! Needless to say we managed to secure a license in time- wedding photographers in wandsworth Continue reading

What are Beta Blockers? First of all, beta blockers are not only there to treat patients with anxiety conditions. There is a whole range of conditions and symptoms that this drug is used to treat ranging from high blood pressure, over-active thyroid and angina. When your anxiety is triggered, your body can release adrenaline which then goes on to cause some of the classic symptoms of anxiety such as an increased heart rate and respiration. The beta blockers essentially work by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses. The beta blockers 'sit' on beta-adregenic receptors and help to stop the receptors... Continue reading

Another winter wedding for us in December 2011- we actually had 3 that month! Despite the obvious challenges with light we really enjoy shooting winter weddings- they have a warmth and an energy all of their own, and we'd like to think we're getting pretty good at capturing them (modesty aside!) Lily and Mark's wedding was only a week before Christmas Day, and it was full of the seasonal spirit. Lily and Mark are a very talented couple.... Rather than the traditional first dance this couple Clandon Park Photos Continue reading

I know that I don't normally wax lyrical in my blog posts. But both Brenda and I were wowed by our experience of covering Ant and Charlie's 1950's vintage themed wedding back in June......From the home setting itself (the wedding took place at Charlie's childhood home) through to the beautiful favours, flowers and table settings. There was even a Jukebox there, in true 1950's style! Continue reading
