November 1, 2009 Isaiah 25:6-9 A few years ago someone gave me a book of short stories by Michael Lindvall, a Presbyterian pastor who writes about life in the fictional town of North Haven, Minnesota. They are stories told from the perspective of the Reverend Battle, pastor of a local church in that little one-horse, backwater town, a place that has seen better days.
