Alok - Lync always checks a SIP address to determine if the user has a Lync account prior to sending the call out the static route. Therefore you can have a static route which matches any of the SIP domains which Lync is hosting.
Creating Static Routes in Lync Server 2010
I haven’t found a comprehensive process documented for this yet so I figured I’d give it the first run. This information is accurate for the Release Candidate of Lync Server 2010. Now the process to create the static route itself is very easy, in fact there is a nice cmdlet specifically for thi...

A Basic Method for Catching Specific #Lync (and other Powershell) Script Errors
Last week there was a question in the Technet forums by an admin who was writing a script to enable new or disabled users for Lync and the admin was trying to figure out how to handle the error that is returned when a Lync user doesn’t exist or is disabled (thread is here). While there are probably a number of ways to do this I was intrigued by how one might find specific errors and act upon them. As you can see in the Technet thread I gave a quick workaround by suggesting the use of -errorvariable to write... Continue reading

Lync/OCS Coexistence and Static Routes
Having worked heavily with static routing since the pre-release versions of Lync Server 2010 I’ve discovered that while the cmdlet documentation is pretty good on how to create and manage static routes, there is no information on managing static routes in a mixed environment containing both OCS ...
No, routes can go from OCS to Lync when you merge the topology but not the other direction.

Brandon,
There should be almost nothing to it - just go to SIP Advanced and enable the ICE Server Environment for MS and you'll be good to go. If you don't see that setting then you'll need to upgrade your RMX to the latest version.

Polycom RMX Layouts in Lync

Ok, I just tested this with an RMX1500 on 7.6 using a VMR with legacy content enabled. I dialed it from Lync and from an HDX using H.323, then I shared content from the HDX using the VGA cable. Lync received the content in the video stream as expected.
So it definitely works with what you have. I think the best course of action would be for you to open a ticket with Polycom to get additional support.
